Hi guys! I just finished the first week of my new term so, obviously, I'm here to ramble about Kingdom Hearts. :'D There are no spoilers for BBS here because UPS does not ship on the weekends thus my copy is, presumably, still sitting all lonely in Play-Asia's warehouse.

Otherwise, while killing time waiting for BBS, I've been playing Dissidia: Final Fantasy. I'm not very good at it. It's fun but I can't play for too long without getting immensely bored. :( Oh well.

I am going to be skimming my friends list and twitter for the next week or two (depending how long it takes me to beat BBS) so as to avoid spoilers! D: Anything I write about the game once it's in my hands will be under a cut but I can't be too sure about everyone else on my list (or the communities!) so if I'm lax on commenting (as always), it's a combination of being too busy playing and too careful avoiding spoilers. XD

Also there's school work that I should be doing but, you know. Priorities and all. xD;

:( This is honestly bothering me. In the last month I've actually kept myself awake at least once thinking about this.

If twenty-ten catches on, wouldn't it be weird if yeeeaaars from now, kids are reading about stuff in textbooks and they read it "twenty-oh-nine"? That sounds so strange. :( But "two-thousand and forty-eight" sounds ridiculous.

Point form again because I feel like shit and am mostly posting an entry for the sake of posting an entry.

→ Calculus exam was on Saturday afternoon. Crammed all week for it, mom drove me back to Waterloo on the day-of and stayed to drive me back to my house there afterwards. :> I think the exam went well but not... amazingly. Oh well.

→ Algebra exam was on Monday (wow, that was only yesterday?) and that went okay. It was at 7:30 PM though which had it ending pretty late at 10 PM. And... mom, ever paranoid, got it into her head that I'd be kidnapped or attacked or something and actually drove out to chauffeur me to and from the exam. :| Like, I even finally said I'd take a cab home instead of taking the bus but she drove up anyway. @_@;;;

→ ...and then since I finished my Algebra exam faster than expected, she was able to drive home to Toronto in time to get to bed so that she could come drive me TO my exam this morning instead of just coming to pick me up and drive me home afterwards. SHE IS CRAZY but I was so, so grateful.

→ Last night I caught a cold. One had been sort of coming on for a few days but I fended it off with Cold FX. Apparently my immune system finally gave up and I got almost NO sleep last night... and what sleep I did have was riddled with ridiculous dreams. So I wasn't well-rested at all and I was actually so happy that my mom was gonna come drive me to my exam 'cause ugggh getting up and ready in time to catch the bus would've been horrible.

→ After my exam, there was a big accident or something on HWY 8 so we got lost in Kitchener/Cambridge trying to find an alternate route. We did eventually manage though. Then when we got to TO we stopped in at this... sock factory outlet. All they sold were socks and mom and I spent $120 omfg. n_n; It was awesome and so cheap since all of it was probably worth like $400. We also grabbed food at some random mall and then ended up at Woodbine briefly.

→ And now I'm finally home and I realized I somehow managed to leave my DS and my iPod back in my room in Waterloo goddamnit. ;_;' Oh well.

→ I didn't get a chance to mention it last week but... my dad got a promotion last week! :> I'm so happy for him. He was going to leave the company but his immediate superior invited him out to dinner to talk about what they'd need to offer him to keep him around and dad suggested shuffling roles around and some other stuff and they agreed. ♥ I joked that he should act really surprised when they announced it at a staff meeting and he actually did and then they were both joking around about it. xD; Lmao but I wish I could've seen the look his boss gave him haha. Though, tbh, I can kind of imagine it.

k I can't keep my eyes open any longer and I feel like I'm gonna pass out so... BED TIME NOW.

I speak English and super basic French. I can read French well enough but never got proper practise for speaking it aloud so, you know, I can't say I fluently speak it. xD; I also know some Japanese--enough to get me through most games or anime without subtitles or whatever, but I doubt it'd be very useful in any sort of real world situation. I can't complain though. Now that I'm out of my weeaboo phase, I've no real interest in Japan past their video game export. *shot*

I've got a long list of languages I'd like to learn but if I had to choose only one, it'd be Mandarin. I think it'd probably be the most useful one... but then, I also really don't want to have to learn that in a classroom setting since I wouldn't want to be marked on it. But I know if I didn't learn it in school, I'd never actually learn it so... yeah. I've made no progress there. :'(

lol oops it's been a while since I updated. Again. I can't even lie and say nothing exciting has happened. So point form!

→ I am home now! My classes ended last week and my three exams aren't until the 19th, 21st and 22nd, so I came home in between them. It's good to be home but I'm eating horribly because there is literally nothing that I can use to make lunch so I just... don't eat until dinner time. Oops. (Gotta ask someone to take me out grocery shopping so I can pick up SOMETHING for my lunches, orz.)

→ Got my H1N1 shot on Sunday. My arm finally stopped hurting yesterday. The needle itself was the easiest I've had in years (it was so small!!) but augh my arm was more sore than it usually is with needles afterwards. So glad it's finally (mostly) stopped bugging me.

→ Reunited with my ps3! ♥ D'aww I missed it. :3 I've started playing Enchanted Arms which is a horrible game so far. The English voice actors are pretty much horrible but I don't want to switch the voice track to Japanese because then I have to actually read the subtitles and I won't hear canon gay guy's horribly stereotypical voice anymore ahaha. 8( I'm playing through with morkula (he's playing his 360 version) and we're gonna try to keep up through the whole game and that might be the only thing that keeps me playing. That and the loli robot thing in my party. She is cute. :> I also downloaded the Katamari Forever demo and I love it. ;___; I wish I had access to the PS3 all the time so I could put this on my Christmas list but I don't want to ask for and get something that just won't get much playtime. *baaaw*

→ lmao my brother was supposed to get his report card about 3 weeks ago... and when he got the envelope "it was empty". My parents only found out about this the weekend before I came home and they're... pretty pissed off. So I don't even have to DO anything and I get special treatment as the "good" kid while I'm home. kick ass. I do feel a little bad for my brother, though. I don't buy his story for an instant, so that means his report card must be pretty damn awful if he went to such lengths to hide it. :'( He's gonna get in so much shit when my parents finally DO get to see it. I wonder if he'll even be allowed to play video games over the holidays. I hope so because I want him to finish Assassin's Creed II before I head back to school. ;_;

→ GLEEEEE. ;O; I was so pissed off last night 'cause mom was watching the season finale of Being Erica and I haven't watched any of this season so I said I'd keep out of the room but that I needed the TV at 9pm. This was around... 7:30? Unfortunately, when I came back at 20 to 9 already expecting to have to fight for the TV, she told me she'd missed last week's episode too and had to watch it, so she was only partway through the finale. ffffffffff. I ended up missing the first 5-8 minutes of Glee when I had to go downstairs and beg my dad to give up the other TV. I was so annoyed with her but oh well. She let me use the TV after she was done so I got to see MOST of it in glorious HD as it aired. That was pretty much the only time I saw an episode in any format other than streaming online. XD; It makes quite a difference, lmao! The episode was amaziiiing but I wish it had left off with more of a cliffhanger ahaha. I still can't wait for it to resume in... April is it? ........*sob*

FINALLY. ♥ I've been working on it for most of the month, save my quick break to beat complete Assassin's Creed II (which was an excellent game, btw). I got the last few legends traded to me today and finished up the rest and just... unf. So happy. I haven't completed a Pokedex since the original Pokemon Red and that only happened because of the Rare Candy cheat! So this is very exciting. :]

Oh my god I don't remember the last time I genuinely lost track of time for a whole day.

I woke up today at around 10:30. I laid in bed for what I thought was only about 20 minutes only to glance up at the clock and see it was 11:30. So I got up, grabbed lunch, and did some computer things. At around noon I started playing Assassin's Creed II again and then time just disappeared. @_@; I looked up at some point and it was 7PM so I made/ate dinner. Then after what seemed like half an hour, it was 10pm.

...and that was about 20 minutes ago I swear. HOW IS IT ONE AM ALREADY? D: This game is such a time sink for me omggg. I only noticed what time it was because suddenly I was really, really tired. Guess I've figured out why. XD;

I think I'll squeeze in another hour and then call it a night. ffffffff and I also have to do at least one of my assignments tomorrow. Do not want. :( I wish "too busy playing video games" was a valid excuse for not handing in work.

As far as the game goes... I am absolutely enamoured with it. By far the best game I've played in a long time. Maybe even a contender for my favourite game ever. unf just... I love it so much. I'm not even finished and I'm already dreading the wait for AC3.

Today was better than yesterday but... still rather hectic.

I went to bed early last night so I actually got up at a decent time this morning. (Woke up at 9:30, laid in bed until 10:15.) I got up and got dressed and as I was packing my bag for the day, I heard a knock on the door. It was the postwoman with a package for me. :> I has my Nosepass plush now, yay~ It's so cute.

Anyway, that distracted me a bit and I knew I wouldn't make the first bus so I had breakfast instead and made it for the second bus. Got to class, sat through it, and then OFF TO THE MALL to pick up my copy of Assassin's Creed II.

When I placed my preorder in early September, I forgot to specify it was for the limited edition version. When I changed it over at the end of the month, the guy told me I might not be able to get the LE version because they only get a certain number of them and many others had already reserved it. So I was really worried, but oh so relieved when I actually got it. :D The tin is huuuuge. And it injured me already. I was originally planning on picking up the PSP game as well, but this totalled just under $100 (would've been over without my $5 deposit) so uhhh YEAH I THINK THAT'S IT FOR GAMES FOR ME THIS YEAR. Augh. ;;'

I haven't even put the disc in my 360 yet. x_x; I got home, basically just had the chance to open the tin, look at everything inside, quickly flipt through the artbook, and then I had to sit down and do my CS assignment... which I only finished about 15 minutes before the deadline, ick.

And now I have to finish up my break and get to studying algebra because if I don't know my shit by tomorrow afternoon, I'm not gonna be able to spend time with my mom who's coming up for my doctor's appointment. :( ffffff why is this week so busy, lmao.

I hope I have time to play AC2 tomorrow night, lmao. ;_; Oh and thanks to everyone for their well wishes on my post yesterday. I've been popping Cold FX since I made it home from my test (which went okay!) so I think the cold is staying away, thank god. 8D
