Today was better than yesterday but... still rather hectic. I went to bed early last night so I actually got up at a decent time this morning. (Woke up at 9:30, laid in bed until 10:15.) I got up and got dressed and as I was packing my bag for the day, I heard a knock on the door. It was the postwoman with a package for me. :> I has my Nosepass plush now, yay~ It's so cute. Anyway, that distracted me a bit and I knew I wouldn't make the first bus so I had breakfast instead and made it for the second bus. Got to class, sat through it, and then OFF TO THE MALL to pick up my copy of Assassin's Creed II. When I placed my preorder in early September, I forgot to specify it was for the limited edition version. When I changed it over at the end of the month, the guy told me I might not be able to get the LE version because they only get a certain number of them and many others had already reserved it. So I was really worried, but oh so relieved when I actually got it. :D The tin is huuuuge. And it injured me already. I was originally planning on picking up the PSP game as well, but this totalled just under $100 (would've been over without my $5 deposit) so uhhh YEAH I THINK THAT'S IT FOR GAMES FOR ME THIS YEAR. Augh. ;;' I haven't even put the disc in my 360 yet. x_x; I got home, basically just had the chance to open the tin, look at everything inside, quickly flipt through the artbook, and then I had to sit down and do my CS assignment... which I only finished about 15 minutes before the deadline, ick. And now I have to finish up my break and get to studying algebra because if I don't know my shit by tomorrow afternoon, I'm not gonna be able to spend time with my mom who's coming up for my doctor's appointment. :( ffffff why is this week so busy, lmao. I hope I have time to play AC2 tomorrow night, lmao. ;_; Oh and thanks to everyone for their well wishes on my post yesterday. I've been popping Cold FX since I made it home from my test (which went okay!) so I think the cold is staying away, thank god. 8D I really need some Assassin's Creed icons wtf. :(

Yeah I already gave up on that one-blog-a-day thing. :/ I suck. Oh well. Today was pretty crappy. I woke up and rolled over to turn on my computers. I've gotten back into using my laptop + external monitor setup recently and since it won't recognize that it has a wifi adapter, I have to share the internet connection from my netbook. Annoying... but it gets the job done. This morning, however? LOL NOPE. My laptop starts up and about 15 seconds later, it reboots itself. Repeatedly. It'll keep doing that until I hold down the power button to stop it. And the display doesn't work--nothing shows up on the screen whether it's the primary display or an external one. :/ I contacted HP and they gave me a few things to try, one of which was to take out the RAM and remount it. Sooo I got up, dressed, and headed out. Stopped at Zeller's when I got to the mall hoping they'd have a screwdriver (I don't have one of my own which is why I was out, lol) and while I didn't find one, I did find the Jakks Pichu figure. Omg so cute. ;w; So I bought that and walked up to Home Depot. Someone there helped me figure out what I needed and then I came home. Unfortunately it was all for pretty much nothing since that didn't work. XD; HP has decided it's my motherboard. I don't really want to spend ~$200 fixing my laptop since diagnosing the actual problem (I don't trust HP) and then repairing it could be pricey. It just wouldn't make sense to pay that much when a new computer isn't too much more. :( I called my parents and asked for advice and we're trying to decide what to do. I don't *NEED* a full computer but it makes things a LOT easier because there's only so much I can do on my netbook with only 1GB ram and a resolution of 1024*600. I'd love to get another decent-sized notebook so I can continue to dual-screen but anything I want is well out of my price range so we're looking at desktops now. This is just... really annoying, because I don't have money much to work with (I don't want my parents paying all of this) and I WAS hoping to save up somewhat for a new DS since mine is dying. ;_; *sigh* But lol yeah HP made me cry again. :'( Haaaaaaaate it so much. (Honestly how hard can it be to send a box internationally?? Why should the CUSTOMER have to be the one jumping through hoops?) Oh, and sorry to the people I was probably mean to today. Dealing with HP always puts me in an AWFUL mood so I was pretty snippy and unattentive to anyone who popped up on MSN. u_u *sigh* Well, I got NOTHING done that I'd wanted to get done today. May as well go to bed and try again tomorrow.

My sleep last night was amazing. Best one yet, here. *_* It took me a while to get to sleep last night because I actually had too many pillows. I'm used to needing so many but I was so comfortable with just one. It was really strange! It's also a bit uncomfortable to be sleeping on my side which is how I usually prefer it but sleeping on my back was just... really comfy so maybe I'll change my preference or something. I dunno. A++ sleep though. :D Long story short, I missed algebra this morning and then decided not to bother with calculus since I'd just be leaving early anyway. I... really should've gone though. At least I'd have been on campus. ~_~ The bus I needed to take to get to campus on time was at 11:54. When I was across the street from the bus stop, it was 11:48 and I ran up in time to see the bus pulling away. I ended up walking the whole way to campus which is about a 40 minute walk. I called ahead to let them know I'd be late but... ugh. It didn't help that I seemed to hit every red light along the way and, as I was walking, missed two more buses (not the same one I'd originally been trying to catch but both of them would've dropped me off close enough). Uggh. Luckily, the doctor was still there and she still saw me even though I was 15 minutes late omg. ♥ ;_; I was so thankful. I gave her the background info and she printed out the blood requisition form for me... and though I only asked for a CBC to be done, she added in a few other things to check. :3 She also gave me a prescription for naproxen since I said cramps were getting bad again and I don't want to be taking percocet (they're ultimately what made me fail last semester x_x). I've tried that before and it never worked but she said I should give it another one since circumstances have changed and whatnot. *shrug* 30 pills ended up only costing me $1.39 so I can't complain even if they don't work. XD; Anyway, after that I came home and sat around for a while. Studied a bit (I played more Elite Beat Agents than studied but shhh) and then left 10 minutes early for my midterm. So of course, when I'm extra early for the bus, it comes 5 minutes late. *sigh* Oh well. Got there on time and wrote the test. It was longer than the first midterm and not nearly as easy but I think I did okay. :[ Mom wanted me to take a taxi home since the exam was basically over at 9pm but lol, she's super paranoid. 8| Next bus wasn't for a while and I hate standing around so I walked up to Laurier and waited a few minutes for the bus there. Then came home and ate a late dinner and now I'm staring at a blank page of graph paper. :( Better start my calculus assignment. ick.
