I finally remembered to stop in at the grocery store on my way home to buy a tomato and some lettuce. Then I came home and made a really good sandwich omg. 8)

I've done ~absolutely nothing~ ever since. I found out my Mario & Luigi (GBA) file deleted itself which really bugs me because, while I like the game, I'm REALLY bad at it and i was about halfway through--it was hard just to get there. D: So I've pulled it from my now playing list and I'll start it again... some other time. u_u;

In lieu of that I was playing some Elite Beat Agents trying to get to the highest rank but I can't seem to get A-rank (let alone S-rank) on any more songs than I have now so I'm not having much luck. I've set it aside for a while too (because the songs are starting to drive me crazy).

...so instead, I'm grinding in Diamond to get enough money to buy that last ribbon from the rich people place for Marluxia (...my Cherrim :D). I'm about halfway there which is awesome, considering I started with only 11k. (I need 999,999. XD;)

Three classes tomorrow and then WEEKEND. \o/

Actually managed to get up on time (yay!) and made it to the bus stop early (yay!) just as the bus pulled away (DDD8). I called a taxi and waited a few minutes but then another bus pulled up anyway so I guess the one I'd missed was just the previous bus running really late, lol. Regardless, I got to campus around 9 and handed in my assignment. C:

Got my bloodwork done. n_n I walked into the lab and there was this nice little old lady sitting in there. She was SO nice and SO good at it. They have a recliner in there and she rested my arm on a pillow while she did the procedure and she got it first try and everything and just... eeee so much better than the last time it happened when it caused my dad to faint. XD

I made a follow-up appointment with the doctor I saw the other day but the only days available were November 16th and 18th. ;_____; The 16th is the day of my last midterm (calculus ugggh) so I really need to spend the day studying. The 18th? That's the day Assassin's Creed II comes out. DDD: Mom wants to come up for that so the day is just gonna be... ugh. Classes in the morning, then doctor's appointment, then mom will chill with me for a bit idk, then I write an algebra quiz. It'll take forever just to go GET the game, let alone play it. BAAAAAW.

Went to classes afterward and didn't feel up to going all the way back home and then back for my afternoon class so I just grabbed lunch and then studied in the library all afternoon. u_u; The quiz I wrote in the afternoon tutorial didn't even have half the stuff they told us to study ugh. The course site specifically said the quiz would be on 3.1 to 3.4 and it was only up until 3.3. I hate when that happens. ~_~

idk if anyone's noticed but... I'm trying to blog every day in November. Even if it's just boring crap like this. :( The beginning-to-mid-week stuff is always gonna be this boring but I swear I'll have less mundane things to talk about later in the week. Maybe. Probably not.

I was doing Calculus at the same time...! But yeah, ended up waking up at like noon.

Spent the rest of the day doing calculus and finished the assignment around 4:30 by which point I figured it would be too much of a hassle to head out to campus to hand it in since I wouldn't even be able to get my bloodwork done before/after. So instead I'm waking up extra early (by which I mean, like, 8 am lol) to get it in by 9:20 tomorrow. *sigh* At least the lab in the clinic is open that early, though, so I should be able to get my blood drawn before my first class so I don't miss any. Yay! (...I guess.)

Ugh, it's nearly midnight. I should head off to sleep. x_x

My sleep last night was amazing. Best one yet, here. *_* It took me a while to get to sleep last night because I actually had too many pillows. I'm used to needing so many but I was so comfortable with just one. It was really strange! It's also a bit uncomfortable to be sleeping on my side which is how I usually prefer it but sleeping on my back was just... really comfy so maybe I'll change my preference or something. I dunno. A++ sleep though. :D

Long story short, I missed algebra this morning and then decided not to bother with calculus since I'd just be leaving early anyway. I... really should've gone though. At least I'd have been on campus. ~_~

The bus I needed to take to get to campus on time was at 11:54. When I was across the street from the bus stop, it was 11:48 and I ran up in time to see the bus pulling away. I ended up walking the whole way to campus which is about a 40 minute walk. I called ahead to let them know I'd be late but... ugh. It didn't help that I seemed to hit every red light along the way and, as I was walking, missed two more buses (not the same one I'd originally been trying to catch but both of them would've dropped me off close enough). Uggh.

Luckily, the doctor was still there and she still saw me even though I was 15 minutes late omg. ♥ ;_; I was so thankful. I gave her the background info and she printed out the blood requisition form for me... and though I only asked for a CBC to be done, she added in a few other things to check. :3 She also gave me a prescription for naproxen since I said cramps were getting bad again and I don't want to be taking percocet (they're ultimately what made me fail last semester x_x). I've tried that before and it never worked but she said I should give it another one since circumstances have changed and whatnot. *shrug* 30 pills ended up only costing me $1.39 so I can't complain even if they don't work. XD;

Anyway, after that I came home and sat around for a while. Studied a bit (I played more Elite Beat Agents than studied but shhh) and then left 10 minutes early for my midterm. So of course, when I'm extra early for the bus, it comes 5 minutes late. *sigh* Oh well. Got there on time and wrote the test. It was longer than the first midterm and not nearly as easy but I think I did okay. :[

Mom wanted me to take a taxi home since the exam was basically over at 9pm but lol, she's super paranoid. 8| Next bus wasn't for a while and I hate standing around so I walked up to Laurier and waited a few minutes for the bus there. Then came home and ate a late dinner and now I'm staring at a blank page of graph paper.

:( Better start my calculus assignment. ick.

I have a midterm tomorrow and I have yet to study for it. Hahaha, oops.

I was pleasantly surprised. Mom & Dad called me before they left Toronto today. They hadn't checked their email so it was a good thing too--I needed them to bring up a fork.

See, apparently every fork in the house has gone missing except for one. I put up a sign last week in the kitchen basically saying "Guys where are all the forks? :(" hoping whoever had them would feel guilted and sheepishly just return them to the sink so everyone could continue using them. No luck. Dean and I had two forks we were using everyday (we're the only ones in the house who consistently prepare meals every night) but I forgot to wash them and put them away in my drawer (hidden with chopsticks lol) after dinner one night and another one went missing, ugh. So yes, my parents brought up one more fork and we will be much more careful with it. My notes may get more and more passive-aggressive if forks don't turn up soon. Gotta start asking roommates about it when I see them too, even though I really only ever see Dean and Matt. x_x

Anyway, parents came up and brought a crapton of stuff. Two more boxes of Coke, two bottles of raspberry juice (omg ♥) and some other things like dry pasta, some soup, etc. Mom also brought me up a 3" memory foam to put over my mattress. It's... it's... it's so fucking comfy omg. I had it decompressing (it was vacuum-sealed, lol) on my bed while we went out and Dean helped me get my bedding on over it when I got home and just... unf. I'm going to have the best sleep ever tonight, I just know it.

But yeah, mom and dad took me out for lunch after that. :') It was nice to just get to sit and talk with just them for a while. We went to Boston Pizza and I had some pasta thing even if I wasnt hungry (I took like... all of it home and had it for dinner later, lol). Then we went to the mall and did a huuuge grocery shop. Mom and I found the discount Halloween candy and we bought sooo much. XD; I must have like 400 mini-size chocolate bars in my closet now. Wonder how long that'll last. (Got some Oh Henrys, Reese's cups and pieces, Smarties, and Aero. ♥) Grabbed more groceries and useful things and yaaay. It was quite awesome.

Didn't do much all day since they went home though. Put everything away, reorganized the bottom of my closet (where I keep snacks and stuff), and then Dean and I were really craving frozen hot chocolates so we walked all the way down University to Second Cup. Omg it was so good. 8) Haven't done anything but chill around and post on PC after we got home, yay.

...damn, when did it get so late? Matt just knocked and asked if I wanted to watch Dexter but I have to decline since I've gotta get to bed to make sure I'll be up in time to get to campus for my doctor's appointment. (...at 12:15pm. Shut up.)

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it here but... 358/2 put me on a real KH kick so I've been replaying KH1. It's veeery slow because not only is the battle system so clunky (camera I hate you so hard) but I'm playing on Proud Mode. Oh, and playing the FM version so enemies have more HP and abilities arrive at weird levels. It's been very trying.

But! I am finally up to the part I wanted to get to. The @#$*ing second Riku fight! Let me tell you, being able to skip that freaking cutscene was practically orgasmic because oh my god I can fail epically in this fight and not have to watch the 3 minute cutscene each time I retry. *_* This is the main reason I bought FM! (No, seriously. I knew if I ever played through KH1 again, I wanted the ability to skip cutscenes just for this one fight.)

I still suck at the fight though. My current strategy is to Strike Raid my way through the whole thing, bringing in several ethers and a few elixers. Then I just dodge roll when he spazzes at me and repeat the cycle. I haven't gotten used to dodge rolling in such close quarters but... I will! I just need more practise but not right now because it's 3:30AM.

I must admit, though, it's a lot of fun playing through this game and going, "Haha, the Organization is totally watching his every move." And then imagining how often they'd be facepalming at my constant failures. ("Did he just... just jump off the edge back to the basement? Really? fml i hate my job.") I think my friend and I have decided that every time I revive, it's them going "Oh shit, our Keyblade Master" and curing me, replenishing my items, and dragging me out to safer ground. XD; <s>IT MAKES MY CONSTANT DEATH EASIER TO DEAL WITH, OKAY?</s>

Ahahaha omg.

Around 10ish, my roommate invited me to watch Dexter with him and, since it beats staying up till 4am waiting for a torrent, I jumped at the chance. So we watched it and then we were just talking about random shit for a while. We watched two more episodes (so we watched the new one, then the one before it, then the new one again xD) and just dorked around. Then we were talking about iPod/iPhone apps and he mentioned the Dexter one. I'd heard the game on the App Store is actually pretty good so he bought it and we started playing it.

Omfg we kept laughing our asses off. XD It's a good game--it looks good, it sounds good, and overall the gameplay isn't that bad--but ugggh parts of it are just so hilariously bad. Or we're bad at it. Or something. Like I just spent half an hour trying to do a two minute mission where you have to pick the lock on a door, run from that door into another room before a dog gets you, and then find all this guy's porn. If you fail at the running part, you have to smash the window. But just... lmfao. It was sooo hard and his iPod wasn't being very responsive so it was basically just a game of chance. XD I was doing okay on my last try and just as I had to do the hardest part (running from the back door to this guy's room), his dog (er, roommate's, so it actually happened XD) jumps up between my legs and the game so I couldn't see what I was doing... and somehow that was the only time I managed to do it.

Lmao it doesn't sound funny now but aklfjsdlf we liked died laughing omg. And then we simultaneously realized it was pretty much 4am, haha. But wow, it's an addictive gmae but I probably wouldn't play it on my own. It was just too much fun playing with someone else. XD; Like this other part, we took Rita on a date and even though we didn't really want to, we decided to be extra super nice to her--and we didn't get laid. :'( After tonight's episode we have an ongoing joke about Dexter having to sleep outside no matter how much of a model husband he is, etc. so it tied in rather nicely. 8D;

But lol, I'm not too tired which is bad. 8|;; I'm gonna go eat cereal and try to sleep though. *sigh* :(

Um, haven't made an entry in a while. Again. Oops.

Point form!

→ Thanksgiving was good. Mom was in Vegas (one of my cousins was getting married there) so I just chilled with my dad and my brother. Had massive cramps on Saturday and part of Sunday which sucked since I didn't get to see triforce89 but I got lots of sleep over the weekend, ate LOTS OF GOOD FOOD and it was basically just super awesome.

→ Brain!surgery cousin is okay!! ♥ Doctors were amazed but he's doing really well. He's home already because instead of taking weeks/months to relearn how to walk and whatnot, it took him a few days. He's retained all his memories and speech and everything and... he's actually planning to go back to school soon. O_O; Lmao I feel like such an underachiever now, haha. I'm just glad he's okay.

→ Mom came up last weekend. She brought me food, my boots, and some other stuff. We went out for lunch. Went to the mall and they added an entirely new section. I knew they were reno'ing but wow. EB Games moved to a bigger storefront and are now a Gamestop. I picked up Dead Space. Mom also bought me a pair of $50 slippers because they were so comfy and I needed a new one. ;~; omgg I love them so much. Also she bought my groceries. I love herrr. So glad I got to see her since I didn't at Thanksgiving. :'D Wish we'd had more time to talk with just the two of us though. I need to go home again sometime.

→ Started playing Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix last week. It's SO HARD omg. D: I'm playing on Proud Mode and I'm not used to the shitty camera, nor am I used to the controls. (Though thank god it's got the Japanese controls or I'd be dying even more than I am now!) It took me like 3 or 4 hours today just to beat the Cave of Wonders. x_x I'm at level 22 and I don't get guard until 33 because for some reason I decided to choose magic at the beginning of the game. Boo.

→ So close to complete in KH 358/2 Days. :'D I need about 10 more challenge sigils and I'll mark it completed on Backloggery. (I waited until level 100 with the Japanese version but I'm not going to let myself do that again.)

→ HAVE I MENTIONED I LIKE KINGDOM HEARTS? eeeeeee the trailer for BBS that came out this week. sdklfsd want so much!! I'm glad it has a release date (January 9 fuck yeah!) but it's gonna be a lot. x_x; $60ish in Japan and by the time I import, it'll probably be close to $100, ugh. I'll probably try to swing it as my Christmas present and then I can get the one-day shipping and not be paying as much as I would. Otherwise I'm gonna be spoiler-avoiding for half a month again and that sucked. DD: (Yeah, I'm importing. I'm impatient with KH games!)

→ Got accepted into the social networking preview on XBL. :D Yay twitter! I doubt I'll use it much on there though, since I don't have a keypad and I usually play with a computer near me anyway. (That and it's a standalone app on the dashboard?) Haven't had a chance to try out Facebook yet though I probably will over the weekend. I wish Last.fm was available in Canada. ;__;

→ Ordered Microsoft Windows 7 today! :DD I added the CD to my cart so it'll be shipped home sometime but I'll be downloading it and reformatting my netbook to install it this weekend, likely tomorrow. Just have to back everything up and make sure I have my wifi driver downloaded first.

→ Not going into much detail but it involves my FAVOURITE TMI HEALTH ISSUE that you can probably read back on if you're curious. But anyway, my doctor is a little worried, apparently, and is suggesting I get "complete bloodwork" done. But since I don't have an official requisition form, I have to go to a doctor here to get one so I have an appointment on Nov 2nd at the campus clinic. I have a midterm that day so while I can go in and update them on my health status and get the papers, I'll have to wait on the bloodwork. I'm not so good with it and I don't wanna do anything to compromise the test even if it'd be hours before. v_v

→ Final exam schedule is out! The first one I saw on it was my CS exam which is December 22nd. ffffffffff. That's the last day of the exam period. XD; Luckily, I checked the others and I'm pretty sure they go Dec 19 (Saturday), December 21 (Monday) and then the Tuesday one. Thank god! I emailed my family about it and mom said she'll drive me home after classes end around Dec 6th and then she'll drive me back out for my exams and then home again. D'aww. :')

Why do my point form entries always end up so long omg.

So uhh... yeah, wow, weekend is over. :( That went way too fast. I blame triumphantchaos.

Let's see... I finished 358/2 Days in English on Friday. My thoughts on it have not changed since I beat the game in Japanese so go to that entry if you want to know post-game thoughts and the like.

I have that midterm tomorrow. To study for it, I basically just did the assignment due this week since all they've told us about the exam content is that it'll be up to assignment 3. Had no trouble with that. Tomorrow I'll just go over some basic stuff and that's probably it. There's really not much else to study.

In other news, cramps are bugging me but I am honestly quite sick of talking about it on LJ and am kind of hoping if I ignore the issue and pretend it's not there, it'll go away. Health issues, YAY.

Can't wait for my long weekend next week omg. v_v; I need to figure out how/when I'm gonna get home though. *sigh*

HI GUYS KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 DAYS HAS STOLEN MY SOUL.

...AGAIN.

:| You'd think I'd be absolutely sick of this game by now but I'm not. It's actually really awesome to play through this and go "holy crap I translated all of it right!!" since I played the Japanese version. I actually completed it (100% EVERYTHING) last week just in time <s>to do it all over again</s> for the NA release. Yay! I'm currently on day... 174? I want to hit 179 before I go to bed tonight just for the dork factor. (358/2=179... get it? Get it?)

It's... really nice to play through it while a bunch of others are. triumphantchaos and I have basically been neck and neck the whole time, usually only a few missions ahead and behind each other so I actually have someone to fangirl each day with omfg. ;o; Playing through the Japanese was fun but it's sooo awesome being able to actually talk to people about it. We just come up with stupid scenarios for everything and it's so much fun omg.

Oh, and I was actually really happy! I preordered the game a few weeks ago, soon after I moved back to Waterloo, and I wasn't sure if we'd get the same preorder bonuses here in Canada as they did in the US. But when I went to pick up my game on Tuesday, I walked away with the postcards and the poster. (The poster is huuuge!) I also bought the guide book because it's a good size. :> Not quiiite as detailed as the Ultimania, obviously, but it's far more impressive than I'd expected. Still want the Ultimania though. <s>And will buy it once I have more to combine it with so that shipping isn't pricier than the books themselves fffffff.</s>

Uhh aside from KH I haven't been doing anything. I have my first midterm on Monday though! It's ridiculous... classes started on the 14th and then first midterm on October 5th? Laaaaame. It'll be pretty easy though, I guess. It's not like we've covered much at all. I just know I'm either going to juuuust finish KH in time to get a bit of studying in on Sunday/Monday or else I'm going to have to put down the game just when I'm at the climax and be antsy to finish it when I start studying. Baaaw. :( At least I know what happens though so I won't be too tempted to ditch studying for gaming, haha.

That's... about it. I watched Year One with my roommate today. It was okay. I'm not a huuuge fan of Jack Black but the movie was better than I expected. XD; And now... I'm gonna go back

Oh btw, not overly happy with the translation of Marluxia's default weapon. ("Fickle Erica"). I'm happy they kept my name in it, obviously, but I wanted something cooler sounding to match the Japanese. Traitorous Erica or Treacherous would've been pretty awesome. But MAJOR POINTS for having a "Fearsome Anise" LOL. Oh Marluxia, ilu. ;~;

sasdklfjklsdfg

ADKLDFJKLGHLDKH

:( DEXTER SEASON 4 EPISODE 1 WHAT WAS THAT CLIFFHANGER AAAAGH.

This episode reminded me "oh yeah, I've seen like 4 episodes of season 2" because I had no fucking clue what some of the flashbacks were in the "last time on dexter". XD; When I go home for Thanksgiving (or if mom comes up early after that), I'll grab our discs of it to watch. \o/

Anyway!

I'd totally forgotten the season premiere was today. I know it leaked on the net a month ago but I persevered and did not watch it because I also heard there was a cliffhanger at the end and did NOT want to be waiting forever for ep 2. But yeah, Matt came into the kitchen today as Dean and I were doing dishes and reminded me. (To which Dean responded later, "Oh, Desperate Housewives premieres today too!" :|) So around midnight Matt knocked on my door and invited me to watch it in HD with him. eeee. :> So now I'm covered in dog fur (damnit, my pyjamas, too... I'd already changed XD) but very contented.

Episode was good! I loooooved seeing exasperated!Dexter. XD; It's just funny seeing him trying to keep up with typical daddy chores. The courtroom scene was just DDD8 though. Baaaw. Poor Dexter. But my favourite part was totally the sex scene. LOL. JUST LOL.

"The baby's asleep, and you know what that means."
"Sleep. ♥"
"Sex. ♥"
"...."

And then the look on Dexter's face ahahahaha. That was great.

Ugggh the beginning of the episode was so awkward though. (I know I'm skipping around a lot. Oh well. XD) Honestly, I really only know John Lithgow from 3rd Rock from the Sun so I was SO NOT EXPECTING HIM TO... well... you know. :| Sexually assault and murder a young woman in a bathtub lmfao so creepy. ;o; I'm used to him being quirky and weird lmaoo.

ffff the end though. ;_; I knew it ended with a cliffhanger (this is why I hate spoilers of any kind) so when the episode was nearing its end I got sooo nervous. Like. hauuu when he was waiting for his victim to wake up, I thought he was just gonna fall asleep and wake up and the guy was gonna be gone or something. Then I figured when his phone rang, that Rita would hear the guy screaming for help. Then I thought for a second that he'd run out to the pharmacy, go home, and then come back and the guy would be gone/found. XD; And then when he was driving home it was obvious an accident would happen but I didn't know what kind and ffff Dexter are you okay and where are your body parts oh god. DDD:

DDDDDD:

I am so glad I didn't download this ahead of time. XD; idk how I could've waited for next week.

It's exciting to be able to keep up with this regularly again! :D Last time I was able to do this was with S1 but I didn't even start watching it until halfway through so it barely counts. XD;

lol sorry. v_v; This was just the most exciting thing to happen to me all day lmao.

I don't remember too much of my dream from last night but I do remember it was the apocalypse or something. A lot happened but the part that stands out the most was near the end. Everywhere was flooding and we were going to try to drive to higher ground and I had to go get my brother. I found him in the basement playing Guitar Hero and he insisted he be able to finish his song. Then he got really mad at me for turning off the TV so he wouldn't drown. D: And then I couldn't find my shoes. It was very distressing.

The worst part is I can totally see him doing that. Stupid brother. :'(

I should really be doing my CS assignment if I don't want to have to do it on Tuesday after I pick up 358/2 but ffffff I can't concentrate.
HI GUYS I need to get back into the groove of posting. I'm so lazy this year. :( My first page of posts goes back to July omg. Erica stop being so lame.

Then again, it's not like I've done anything worthwhile. XD; I did my assignments early last week and then on Tuesday, Matt asked if I wanted to go down to Blockbuster with him to check out the game selections and rent one (since he gets free rentals). So we did and I picked up, in a very stupid move, Lost Odyssey. :| First of all I thought it was two discs, not FOUR. XD; I basically got like 6 hours in and I have to give it back by Monday night but loool I've barely done anything. v_v; I played it the first day, and haven't really touched it since.

Instead I've been slaving away on 358/2 Days trying to get the Japanese version complete before the English release on Tuesday. I finally managed to get all the trial symbols (I was translating one wrong and it became SO easy once I started doing it right XD), I got all the gold crowns I need to unlock stuff, and I maxed out my level at 100. SO FABULOUS. \o/ But I've been neglecting schoolwork so I'm planning to do that today and then hopefully play Lost Odyssey as much as possible on Sunday and possibly Monday. I'm planning on buying it eventually anyway so at least I won't feel too bad leaving it unfinished. XD;

But yeah, I'm super proud of completing 358/2. He was in and out in under 30 minutes, awesome!

I ended up having the router set up downstairs on top of the TV since it's in a central enough location that we shouldn't have a problem all connecting. Except me. Because my laptop rarely has wireless internet. But I can get around that if need be--I've been doing it for a year now, after all. I'm just glad to not have to worry about missing stuff, only having a few hours of access a day, and I can come home right after class now too. \o/

If I missed any important posts over the last two weeks, let me know. :>

HAY GUYS HOW IS EVERYONE?

I'm holding up without internet. It hurts but the pain lessens everyday. Or something like that.

Mm... first day of classes was today. I'm actually still on campus but my classes ended at 12:20 today. I normally have class 10:30-12:20 on Mondays and then a tutorial at 5:30 PM (ffffffff) so I haven't decided if I'll chill on campus every Monday (and Wednesday which has the same hours, more or less) or go home and come back. We'll see!

My Calculus class was full like whoa but the prof (whose last name is "Best" and I am jealous) signed my override form so I'm in. :) That class is good and the prof is funny but he doesn't speak too loudly so I'm gonna have to make sure I get a seat near the front every time--but that's okay because my class directly before it is literally one classroom away so I just walk out of the first and into the second. Kick ass.

My first prof is... different. XD; We got a geography lesson, European history lesson, Canadian history lesson, religion and language lesson all in one. We only did algebra for the last 10 minutes and even then it was basically "SUBSTITUTION IS LAME AND ELIMINATION IS PRETTY RAD BUT NOT AS COOL AS WHAT WE'RE ABOUT TO--OH WHOOPS OUT OF TIME". He actually let us make the course outline ourselves. :| Originally it was gonna be a final and some quizzes, but he asked us and added in a midterm. Then we were really close to getting a MATLAB assignment but more people voted no on it. ;_; Oh well.

After my classes, I went to hand in the override form and then when I was wandering through SLC, I noticed Rogers had a tent up and were talking about internet. I wandered over and said I was interested and the guy... took down my name and address right there. o_O; So it looks like by the end of the week (or a little later), we'll be getting the student special installed. :] 10MBps download and 95GB/month usage for like $40. Niiice. Do want. ♥

Mm... not much else to say. Dad surprised me by showing up at my front door unannounced on Thursday night which was great because all my roommates were out and I was lonely and hungry because I had no food. He'd been golfing in Guelph and figured it was pretty close. So we went out to grab something quick and it was really nice. Mom came up the next day and brought me some necessities. Like a bookshelf, a hanging compartment for my closet, and some more pillows. XD; We went out for lunch, saw 9, and then did some grocery shopping. :D So now my kitchen is all stocked up, yay!

Now I need to go pick up some hooks to put on the wall and some poster tape for Dean.

nggg I really miss having internet! :(

Sitting in the library at school now. Classes don't start until next week but I needed to talk to an advisor about something. I missed my bus (or rather, took it going the wrong way lolol) and missed advising hours though. So I'm just chilling and enjoying the 6-hour battery on my netbook instead.

Um... the house I'm in is okay. A bit. eh. Not the nicest of places but it's pretty close and from what I can tell, roommates are nice. One (Scott) I met the day I moved in and haven't seen since. XD; The other, Matt, is pretty cool. :] We stayed up until 3 AM on Monday night watching Monty Python's Life of Brian and some Dexter. He leant me some discs of the third season so I can catch up on my own before the fourth season which we'll watch together. \o/ He has a beagle but she's pretty well behaved. I'm just... probably not gonna be putting up much of my Pokemon stuff since if she's around me and I have to head into my room, she'll run in and jump on my stuff. She likes to tear apart plushies sooooo Pichu and Cherrim, you guys are staying in the closet. ;_;' There's also like no place whatsoever to put anything. :( I'll take pictures and post them sometime but it's a very bland room. I forgot posters at home so that doesn't help, lmao.

So yeah, no internet there so far. Have discussed it slightly with Matt (who does have his own internet as part of his TV bundle) but there are two phone lines as far as I know so I'll probably have to find my own. idk. :( I just know that for now, coming to school is the only way to get free net. XD; Though I suppose I could always bus it down to Chapters and sit in the Starbucks there... but then I'd probably spend lots on drinks while there and that's no good.

I guess if you need to contact me, direct message me on twitter (I'm cherrim on there). I should have my phone with me at all times and DMing me sends me a text. Otherwise I check in on twitter every few hours or so.

'kay my butt hurts from this uncomfortable chair so I think imma go home now, haha.

My last day of work was last Wednesday. These are the things I hope to get done while sitting around doing nothing in this only "do nothing" week off I've had all summer. The only urgent stuff is transferring files between hard drives (my parents bought a 1TB external hard drive and they're trading it to me for my previously almost-full 500GB one ♥) and... I guess looking into internet, though I kind of want to talk to roommates first and actually be in the house. (ie, if they've already got like basic internet, can I hook up my own line? idkkk.)

I've been surprising myself by actually going to bed before midnight every night. I don't fall asleep right away, and I still get up at like 10 or 11 AM but... still. It's an improvement over the going-to-bed-at-4AM I had over the weekend. I didn't want to spend the week slipping into my bad sleeping habits. XD

Um. Not much to say now. :( I'm suddenly not feeling well and I have no idea why. Maybe it's a cue for me to go to bed so I guess I will. Just wanted to drop my list here since I know I'm gonna lose the paper copy sooner or later, ahaha.

In other news I am absolutely addicted to this song and I partially blame eternalaegis

I don't want to drag this out and never write it like AN's (which WILL be posted one day--it's half-written xD) so I'm just gonna do a quick entry on Fan Expo.

Thursday

Jeef/eternalaegis got here around 11:30ish. He taxi'd down from the airport and was really hungry when he got here so we ordered pizza. We were FAR too amused by the fact that we could add multiple orders of "no sauce" to the final total. Haha.

We dorked around until the pizza got here and then watched the Pokémon episode I'd recorded a few months ago with Probopass in it while eating. We also watched this episode of Horse Land I recorded because it's the worst cartoon ever and we died laughing. So much fun. XD;

Uhh... so we dorked around even more after that. Honestly I don't even remember what we did. We installed Windows 7 on his Mac (and got simultaneously freaked out by his Mac's disc drive which sounds like it eats the discs lmao). I'm sure we did other stuff but I don't really remember. XD This is also about when we got absolutely obsessed with this music video. We watched it over and over and had the song stuck in our heads aaall weekend. XD;

I guess we watched Nightmare Before Christmas since Jeef had never seen it. We accidentally started naming the characters after our friends and whatnot and that was funny. Dean came around dinner time and after dinner we... dorked around on the computer some more. XD; We sat around doing lots of nothing that day. Talking to people on each other's MSN and... yeah. We played some 358/2, too. :>

We retired to bed around... midnight? Or shortly after? We had to make the bed in the basement and Dean realized he forgot to bring pyjamas (despite bringing MORE LUGGAGE over to my house than Jeef XD). But yeah we went to sleep and... slept. whoo.

Friday

We intended to get out of the house by 10 on Friday so we could get downtown fairly early. We wanted to stop at the Eaton's Centre and the CN Tower and get lunch before heading to the con. Somehow, amazingly, we actually made it out of the house by 10:30ish which is pretty awesome. :> Our taxi driver on the way to Yorkdale mentioned that he's pretty sure he remembered us from May when he drove us to the airport. So... I guess he was the guy that drove Jeef, Audy and I to the airport. Kinda creepy. XD;

Mm, subway was relatively uneventful. We got to the Eaton Centre and we were pretty hungry so we were going to eat but... idk, we failed at food court-ing. XD; We had to go to abercrombie to exchange some clothes Dean had bought in the US for his cousin but when we got there, he realized he didn't have the receipt. :( So we walked across the mall to EB Games where Dean bought the Lich King expansion for WoW and then meandered around and ended up back at abercrombie. They let him exchange without the receipt but didn't have the exact same clothes as he'd bought in the US so we had a bit of fun trying to find similar products, haha.

We stopped at Hallmark because I had to buy a card and at some point we'd gone to Starbucks too. After this we decided to head into the Path to get to the CN Tower and eat along there. We got... utterly lost though so we ended up just walking there above ground on the streets. XD; It was pretty chilly which sucked but we also didn't get lost which was pretty fabulous. We ended up getting frozen hot chocolates from the Second Cup in Union Station (our new favourite place lmao) and we stopped for food, too. They got pizza and I got McDonald's, yum.

At this point it was about 3PM, so we were right on time. :D We went up the CN Tower. It was really foggy and nasty out so the view wasn't as great as it could be but it was still pretty cool. I haven't been up in a while and obviously it was Jeef's first time. XD; We took some video and some pictures and did the glass floor thing. :D Haha, I notice that Toronto is seemingly choosing to ignore that the tower going up in Dubai that's already taller than the CN Tower--it's yet to be mentioned in the videos or on the info walls. XD;

We came back down the tower (lol the kids talking about swallowing) and headed off to the convention centre to get our con badges. We got there around 4, so right on time. We milled around for a bit but then got smart and moved downstairs to stand around in the lineup for the dealer's room. XD; Dean and I were super lame and played 358/2... but just mission 10 and made sure both of us got gold crowns each time by tying. v_v; Loool so cool.

Mm, in the dealer's room was fun. We walked up and down most aisles even if it was super crowded. Jeef bought the Sora trading arts figure (I think that's what it's called?) and Dean got the KH1 and Hallowe'en Town Sora play arts figures. Jeef also got a vibrating Clefairy a la Pikachu (Jigglypuff) we all already have. :> We also stopped and bought... Pokémon cards. XD; We basically stopped whenever we saw a binder of them and we'd stand there and flip through them, pulling out the cute ones and buying them. We spent $10 the first time, haha. Dean also got a Jigglypuff PVC figure. Oh! And Jeef bought 4 unmarked clipping figures from the set that has Cherrim in it, trying to get Togekiss. We left the Dealer's Room and sat down so he could open them to find out what they were and omggg the first one he opened was Togekiss! It was so awesome! XD; We were a bit bored then and started to do the character game but we had to make up questions and we never quite managed it. :C

Around then, our dinner plans with Adri/ichigokura fell through because she'd met up with some cousins and was going around with them, so we went to go say hi briefly and just went home after that <s>but not before getting another frozen hot chocolate from Second Cup</s>. We taxi'd back to my house and luckily got inside--I'd forgotten to take a house key with me and my family was out to dinner with my aunt. XD; The passcode lock had batteries, though, so yay we got inside! We dumped our stuff and walked up to Fuji Sushi, a Japanese place near my house. :> Food was pretty good. Jeef had never had sushi before so we introduced him to that (and he made a big mess ahaha) and Dean failed at miso soup and spilt it everywhere aaah.

After that, we came back home and watched the Pokémon episode with Dean along with Horseland. Then we decided we'd play some Halo since we hadn't gotten a chance to back at Anime North. :( But we ran into trouble! Apparently one of my controllers is broken--it works fine but the microphone jack is screwed up and just... wouldn't work, no matter what headset we used. ;_;! So since it'd be really annoying to only have two of us able to communicate at once, we ended up not playing and just sitting around talking instead. Aaaah so much innuendo. 8| I think we got bored and eventually signed off and went to bed.

Saturday

Cue fail at getting up! We wanted to be up and downtown by 10:30 at the latest so we could score Masquerade tickets because we remembered there always being a problem getting them in previous years--they run out of them very quickly. D: But when Jeef finally harrassed us enough to at least sit up, it was 9:15 and we realized we'd forgotten to factor in shower time and travel time when we set our 9AM alarm. XD; So we ended up lazing around for most of the morning, taking leisurely showers. My dad made lunch for everyone (a "chicken caesar chicken salad caesar chicken chicken caesar salad chicken salad" XD) and my mom gave us a ride to Yorkdale so we could catch the subway down. :> We made it down there around 1PM.

We got another frozen hot chocolate each and made our way to the convention centre. Oh my god the lineup! O_O; The line for tickets was so, SO long. It was ridiculous. We were so glad we had our passes already. XD; But yeah, we went in and went to the dealer's room. We were gonna head back to Artist's Alley since that was Alyssa/triumphantchaos's last known position and we were gonna try to meet up with her but we walked like right into her as soon as we entered the room haha. 8) We also met Adri and Caitlin too. We talked for a bit and then Jeef wanted to get... Mary MacDonall's autograph? I forget her name. The fierce woman.

He was sooo excited for this and she was actually really awesome. I have no idea who she is but he went up to her all "Hi omg I love your work; your character is my favourite. You're so fierce." and I totally expected her to give him this really weird look but she actually said, "Thank you! And you know, it's weird that you should say 'fierce' because..." and then went on to tell us about how earlier in her career with that character, someone (the director? I forget) had told her to play the character "fierce" or something and lmao so awesome. She even personalized his autograph with the word but I forget what it said exactly. XD; So that was pretty cool. We were also about 10 feet from Leonard Nimoy as we stepped away from the table, too.

Mm... at this point we'd already lost Alyssa. So the rest of us, waaaay too hot from the sheer number of people in the dealer's room, decided to head out and just sit down for a while. We got distracted by trading cards again (cue $15+ spent on Pokémon cards) but we eventually made it out. We sat down for a bit and just talked and cosplay-watched. LMAO some of the cosplays we saw. ;_; Like broom!Marluxia aaaaah. And then there were all these creeps that were just... taking pictures of us omg. o_O; Caitlin was wearing this really pretty dress and people stopped her for her picture a fair bit but uggh there were creepy people who'd take pictures of her just sitting down talking and not even from the front--they were getting like candid side or back shots aaaah. ;;

Adri wanted to check on her brother so we all got up to head back into the dealer's room but once in there, we got separated like right away so we agreed to just meet up later. We stopped at a place selling video games and... I think someone bought something. I'm thinking KH2:FM+ since Jeef bought that but now that I think about it, that was the day before. Hmm. idk. XD; We wandered around some more and I bought an Altair figure. It's ugly and doesn't actually look like him but I wanted one anyway. :( It's the only thing aside from cards that I bought at the con lmao. We bought some Kingdom Hearts cards too just to see what they were and they sucked so I'm glad I only spent $8 on two packs of them.

We just kinda sat around then but we noticed it was getting kinda late and although I'd totally forgotten about it until now, we had managed to get masquerade tickets despite our ridiculous arrival hour. xD We had to be back by 6:30 or so to wait in line to get good seats. (So cool, us.) That meant it was about time to head over to Jack Astor's for dinner. :B We texted Adri and they said they'd meet us there.

Dinner was pretty good. n_n We got pan bread while we waited and our waiter was really weird and kept winking and flirting lmao aaah. Dean spilt his drink this time. We spent most of the meal reminiscing about high school and doing some catch up since Dean and I hadn't seen Catilin in over a year. DD: Oh, and while we were there we also saw Karoline from HS. She was in the Artist's Alley which we didn't get a chance to check out this time but it was nice seeing her again. ♥ Adri and her brother had to leave a little early and the rest of us stayed back about 10 minutes or so. We walked Caitlin to Union so she could catch her train and then we headed back to the con. While in line, we brainstormed for the AN09 LJ entry. I had notes for it and had started an entry using them but, in my immense intelligence, I threw them out while cleaning my room for Jeef's arrival. >:( So we had to do point-form notes again. I think we got everything. XD; We also found a cucumber in line. :| lol we don't even know.

The masquerade itself was... okay. I didn't know the canon for most of the entrants and was thus rather bored for a lot of them unless the costumes themselves were impressive. The host was good, as always, and I absolutely adored entry #50 since it was a birthday celebration for him. xD; But overall it was just meh. I did really like the one KH skit with Riku and Sora. Omg it was announced and the three of us went "noooo" in sync because we figured it'd be yaoi but it was actual FRIENDSHIP and it was cute and awesome and yay. :> D'aaawww.

Anyway, after that we headed for home. As we were walking into the subway station (with our newly obtained frozen hot chocolates, of course), this black guy in the line just ahead of us looks at me and the following conversation occurs:

Him: Excuse me, is that a Pokémon plush you have?
Me: *turns the Cherrim in my arms around* Yup!
Him: Oh wow, is that a Cherrim?
Me: ...yes! :DD
Him: Nice! *turns to friend* That's the form it's only in when it's sunny, you know.
Friend: *rolls eyes*
Me: *thumbs up* 8D

Ahaha. I'd brought my big Cherrim plush that day so it was pretty awesome. XD; This guy did NOT look like a Pokémon dork at ALL. But he then asked what the deal was with cosplayers and stuff in the area so I told him about the Expo. He asked if there was any Bleach stuff there and when I said yes, he turned to his friend again and went, "Okay man, we're going there tomorrow." Haha, his poor friend. But that was pretty cool. You have to be a pretty big Pokémon nerd to be able to partially identify sunny Cherrim from the back. :B

When we got home we... did lots of nothing. We played the "name as many ___ gen pokemon as you can in ___ minutes" games. Then we did a bunch of similar quizzes from the same site. xD; I'm sure we did other stuff but I can't really think of anything. When we finally went to bed (around 3:30 omg), we realized that there was no way we were getting up in time to go to the con so we decided we'd just sleep in and chill around the house for Sunday. While Dean was getting ready for bed, Jeef and I started playing "Guess Who?" the old board game thing. Omgggg his first person was "Susan" and my last question when I had three possible people left to guess from was "Does your character look like a tranny?" "Yes" "Is it Susan?" "Yes" sdfgk,dfhgld LOL. We had way too much fun. "Does your character look like a pedo?" ahahaha. That game is fun. We stayed up talking after this and got hungry so we had some brownies and then came back downstairs and talked some more. And then finally fell asleep.

Sunday

We got up at like 11:30. XD; We didn't do much until after lunch. We had fajitas and Jeef's just like... exploded over his plate. XD; One second he was folding it and the next, I look over and it's on his plate, falling apart lol. After that we came upstairs and played iSketch. Yes, we all sat on my bed and played iSketch with each other. XD; We decided that wasn't overly productive though, so we wanted to play a game of sorts.

Many trips up and downstairs later and we hooked the Wii up in my room and played a 10-turn round of Mario Party 6. We decided the CPU was Mork and had sooo much fun omg. XD Jeef won and Dean lost by a lot ahahaha. Then we played some Brawl where Jeef sucked until we gave him a CPU partner at level 6 (Ike) and then Dean and I had SUCH issues winning omg. XD; It was kind of sad but still fun. We stopped at 4 so we could get everything all packed up. ;_;

This might be the shortest part of the entry but... omg I had a lot of fun today. :( It was really nice just being able to lounge around and hang out with people instead of feeling "oh, have to get up and hurry to go to _____". Next AN we totally have to have some lounging days where we don't have anything planned and we can just chill out all day at our own leisure.

But yeah, Dean left around 4:30 and soon after, my dad drove Jeef and I to the airport. ;_; We only got back from it about 2 hours ago and I miss my Jeef already baaaaaaaw. It's 9 months until next May and I can't wait. My dad did express some interest in heading down to South Carolina because of the golf courses though so maybe I'll see him again before then. :OO Regardless, this weekend was a lot of fun and I only wish he could've stuck around longer. ♥

MAN LOL I'M SO TIRED AAAAH. I have a bunch of videos to upload but I'll do that later. For now I just want to stay up a few more hours and then just get some sleep in my own bed with no crazy people. 8D; I'm also really glad I'm not heading up to Waterloo tomorrow per the original plan lol. I get a week off to just laze around and I intend to make full use of that time to... laze around. Yes.

I feel like I should write an entry but I don't really feel like it. Here's what I've been up to.

→ Over the weekend I literally locked myself in my room. I was replacing my locks and accidentally closed the door while it had no handles on it. :(

→ I've been in a drawing mood lately. Which sucks because I'm so, so out of practise that I can't draw very well anymore. I've basically been drawing Cherrim all over the place. XD;

→ We have visitors staying in our house. Most of last week was spent cleaning the house--with dad and I doing all the work. Came home yesterday and had to rush to clean up even MORE since my mom said she'd finish one of the guest rooms but it was still all dusty and messy. Ugh. Both of us are super stressed.

→ We have fruit flies in the house! Last weekend I blamed mom for it but now we're blaming my brother. :] We figured out why there are so many flies on the upstairs floor instead of just the kitchen--my brother had a rotting banana in the garbage can in his room. Probably there for months. How the hell does he manage this??

→ I've managed to get sick. Again. Or maybe this is just the usual, I don't even know. But I haven't been sleeping well for the last week, I'm constantly overtired, I keep getting chills, I have a pounding headache almost 24/7, and I'm so nauseated all the time. Do not want.

→ Got 4 hours of sleep the night before last, then had to get up and come to work. Then got 5 hours last night because after dad came home from hockey at 10 (my bedtime), I was yelled at because everyone wanted to watch a DVD and my brother had messed with the cables behind the TV. Had to try to set it up. Failed. Came back upstairs. Eventually they got it working at 11:30ish and watched a music DVD (so loud music was blaring right under my room) until pretty late. So. Fucking. Tired. ;_;

→ Learnt yesterday that sending a package of basically the same size and weight costs more to send 5 hours away in Ontario than it does to send to Australia. CANADA POST, I THINK YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG.

→ I... I hope I'm not getting into Axel/Roxas again. :( I've really felt like drawing them the last few days. (Mind you, most of it is just friendship fluff but not all of it fffffff.) This after I FINALLY figured out what my KH otp is. >:(

→ twitter deleted like 8k of my updates. :( I swear I had over 4k (someone says I had over 8k) and yesterday I had 200. I wonder if it can be fixed.

→ I really want to go to sleep omg.

Today is super boring omg. :| twitter (a lifeline of mine while I'm at work) was down for a few hours this morning and LJ wasn't working either so baaaw. Even PC was pretty slow (activity-wise) this morning so all around dull.

I'm leaving work early today. :D Dad has a dental appointment at around 3:45 today so we're hoping to be out of here before 3. yay! Gives me time, when I get home, to figure out how to wrap a golf club which is his birthday present. :|

The rules are simple!
→ If you've been tagged, you must write your answers in your own LJ and replace any question that you dislike with a new, original question.
→ Tag eight people. Don't refuse to do that. Don't tag who tagged you.

Who sleeps in bed next to you?
Lots of pillows and sometimes a Pichu. :D

Have you ever lied to a teacher to get out of a deadline?
Oh yeah. XD

What kind of magazines do you read?
I don't really read magazines. If I do, they're usually gaming or tech ones lmao.

What's your occupation?
Uhh... idk what my actual job title is. :( Office assistant, I guess.

What are you wearing right now?
*glance down* Legend of Zelda shirt, jeans, and a jacket. And underwear and stuff.

Who is your celebrity crush?
I don't know any! I just know fictional characters. :( So uhhh I guess if Sho Minamimoto doesn't count, whatsherface (Emma Watson?) who plays Hermione is attractive idk. v_v don't judge me lmao.

What are you listening to right now?
The 13th Side - Takehiko Yamada [Kingdom Hearts Piano Collection]

What food could you eat every day for weeks and not get sick of?
Hmm. Probably granola bars. XD;

What websites do you always visit when you go online?
twitter, livejournal, gmail, pokecommunity, kotaku, backloggery, and webcomics.

What was the last thing you bought?
Haven't paid for it yet but a Cherubi & Cherrim card. (The one with the art from my default icon omggg. :3)

What was the cutest thing you've seen today?
...my default icon.

Does the weather affect your mood?
Not really. Only when it gets really cold out but day-to-day weather doesn't bug me much.

What is/are the things that make you happy?
Fandom. 8) I mean, other things do too but fandom is something I can count on to make me happy even if there's no friends/family around to talk to, etc.

Do you want to learn another language?
I wanna be fluent in Japanese and I want to learn Mandarin and Spanish and German and Latin and Esperanto. :(

5 things you can't live without
→ Internet
→ cell phone
→ DS (assuming I can't just say "video games")
→ friends
→ family :D

Do you have any siblings?
My younger brother.

What's something you'd like to say to someone right now?
Please stop coming in to talk to me right after you smoke. ;__; It makes my cubicle reek of cigarettes for too long.

What are you looking forward to?
The weekend. 8) Also the end of work.

Say something to the person who tagged you
;~; lmao I don't know any filipino but I keep reading all the parts you write in it anyway to see if I can pick out words. Even if I can only pick up the words you end up writing in English anyway. lmfao *dork*

TAGGED:
→ triforce89 so he has an excuse to take a break from disney writing if he wants to
→ pwink__dolphin
→ alakazam17
→ otaku_attack
→ theatre_diva_89 because she likes memes
→ parallelzero
→ eternalaegis
→ ...anyone else that wants to steal this. 8D

I'm bored. :( Sitting here at work on lunch break hoping the rest of the day will go by really quickly.

Uhhh yesterday I had a doctor's appointment! Apparently everything is fine. :] The worst is mostly over, I think, though I can expect to continue this endless period for another month and a half. (lol sorry tmi) Got a few prescriptions "just in case" since that was probably the last time I'll see this doctor. ;_; Not looking forward to explaining my case ~all over again~ when I'm referred to the new one. baaaaw

I'm really tired. I effectively just had a 4-day weekend and of course stayed up reeeeally late some of those days so I had issues getting to bed on time last night. x_X I'm sooo tired. I hope I can get to bed at a decent hour tonight but I probably won't again.

While I appreciate that mom was able to come give me a ride home from the movie, I wasn't exactly expecting it ~right away omg~. :( Kinda lame to be phoning home to tell her we're going for coffee and to step outside only to see her car pulled right up already. *sigh*

Sorry I had to leave early guys. ;_; We were halfway home when she was like "oh, you were gonna go somewhere? I can go back!" but I didn't wanna make her come out again. We pretty much just walked in the door and she's already getting ready for bed, after all. 8|;;

Harry Potter movies are muuuuch more fun to watch with friends than family though.
lmfao it's been like... a day with no "proper" internet and I'm already whining. :(

I have three options:

Work computer - has IE6 so 'nough said

old desktop - has a keyboard that, every so often, will infinitely type kkkkkkkkkkkk or jjjjjjjjjjjjjj or apparently some other random letters. (My brother says it changes for him all the time.)

new desktop - completely ridden with viruses, as far as I can tell. Runs slower than a snail and every so often it'll just shut down completely. It took like 40 minutes to get through 5 pages of my flist. FUN.

wireless internet I miss you so much. ;_;

sigh. :( At least I'm making some progress in Re:CoM though. Still not totally sold on all the English voices but I'm trying my best to get used to them.
