I speak English and super basic French. I can read French well enough but never got proper practise for speaking it aloud so, you know, I can't say I fluently speak it. xD; I also know some Japanese--enough to get me through most games or anime without subtitles or whatever, but I doubt it'd be very useful in any sort of real world situation. I can't complain though. Now that I'm out of my weeaboo phase, I've no real interest in Japan past their video game export. *shot*

I've got a long list of languages I'd like to learn but if I had to choose only one, it'd be Mandarin. I think it'd probably be the most useful one... but then, I also really don't want to have to learn that in a classroom setting since I wouldn't want to be marked on it. But I know if I didn't learn it in school, I'd never actually learn it so... yeah. I've made no progress there. :'(

lol oops it's been a while since I updated. Again. I can't even lie and say nothing exciting has happened. So point form!

→ I am home now! My classes ended last week and my three exams aren't until the 19th, 21st and 22nd, so I came home in between them. It's good to be home but I'm eating horribly because there is literally nothing that I can use to make lunch so I just... don't eat until dinner time. Oops. (Gotta ask someone to take me out grocery shopping so I can pick up SOMETHING for my lunches, orz.)

→ Got my H1N1 shot on Sunday. My arm finally stopped hurting yesterday. The needle itself was the easiest I've had in years (it was so small!!) but augh my arm was more sore than it usually is with needles afterwards. So glad it's finally (mostly) stopped bugging me.

→ Reunited with my ps3! ♥ D'aww I missed it. :3 I've started playing Enchanted Arms which is a horrible game so far. The English voice actors are pretty much horrible but I don't want to switch the voice track to Japanese because then I have to actually read the subtitles and I won't hear canon gay guy's horribly stereotypical voice anymore ahaha. 8( I'm playing through with morkula (he's playing his 360 version) and we're gonna try to keep up through the whole game and that might be the only thing that keeps me playing. That and the loli robot thing in my party. She is cute. :> I also downloaded the Katamari Forever demo and I love it. ;___; I wish I had access to the PS3 all the time so I could put this on my Christmas list but I don't want to ask for and get something that just won't get much playtime. *baaaw*

→ lmao my brother was supposed to get his report card about 3 weeks ago... and when he got the envelope "it was empty". My parents only found out about this the weekend before I came home and they're... pretty pissed off. So I don't even have to DO anything and I get special treatment as the "good" kid while I'm home. kick ass. I do feel a little bad for my brother, though. I don't buy his story for an instant, so that means his report card must be pretty damn awful if he went to such lengths to hide it. :'( He's gonna get in so much shit when my parents finally DO get to see it. I wonder if he'll even be allowed to play video games over the holidays. I hope so because I want him to finish Assassin's Creed II before I head back to school. ;_;

→ GLEEEEE. ;O; I was so pissed off last night 'cause mom was watching the season finale of Being Erica and I haven't watched any of this season so I said I'd keep out of the room but that I needed the TV at 9pm. This was around... 7:30? Unfortunately, when I came back at 20 to 9 already expecting to have to fight for the TV, she told me she'd missed last week's episode too and had to watch it, so she was only partway through the finale. ffffffffff. I ended up missing the first 5-8 minutes of Glee when I had to go downstairs and beg my dad to give up the other TV. I was so annoyed with her but oh well. She let me use the TV after she was done so I got to see MOST of it in glorious HD as it aired. That was pretty much the only time I saw an episode in any format other than streaming online. XD; It makes quite a difference, lmao! The episode was amaziiiing but I wish it had left off with more of a cliffhanger ahaha. I still can't wait for it to resume in... April is it? ........*sob*

→ I should probably start studying but I'm lazy. Oh well.

Oh my god I don't remember the last time I genuinely lost track of time for a whole day.

I woke up today at around 10:30. I laid in bed for what I thought was only about 20 minutes only to glance up at the clock and see it was 11:30. So I got up, grabbed lunch, and did some computer things. At around noon I started playing Assassin's Creed II again and then time just disappeared. @_@; I looked up at some point and it was 7PM so I made/ate dinner. Then after what seemed like half an hour, it was 10pm.

...and that was about 20 minutes ago I swear. HOW IS IT ONE AM ALREADY? D: This game is such a time sink for me omggg. I only noticed what time it was because suddenly I was really, really tired. Guess I've figured out why. XD;

I think I'll squeeze in another hour and then call it a night. ffffffff and I also have to do at least one of my assignments tomorrow. Do not want. :( I wish "too busy playing video games" was a valid excuse for not handing in work.

As far as the game goes... I am absolutely enamoured with it. By far the best game I've played in a long time. Maybe even a contender for my favourite game ever. unf just... I love it so much.
Today was better than yesterday but... still rather hectic.

I went to bed early last night so I actually got up at a decent time this morning. (Woke up at 9:30, laid in bed until 10:15.) I got up and got dressed and as I was packing my bag for the day, I heard a knock on the door. It was the postwoman with a package for me. :> I has my Nosepass plush now, yay~ It's so cute.

Anyway, that distracted me a bit and I knew I wouldn't make the first bus so I had breakfast instead and made it for the second bus. Got to class, sat through it, and then OFF TO THE MALL to pick up my copy of Assassin's Creed II.

When I placed my preorder in early September, I forgot to specify it was for the limited edition version. When I changed it over at the end of the month, the guy told me I might not be able to get the LE version because they only get a certain number of them and many others had already reserved it. So I was really worried, but oh so relieved when I actually got it. :D The tin is huuuuge. And it injured me already. I was originally planning on picking up the PSP game as well, but this totalled just under $100 (would've been over without my $5 deposit) so uhhh YEAH I THINK THAT'S IT FOR GAMES FOR ME THIS YEAR. Augh. ;;'

I haven't even put the disc in my 360 yet. x_x; I got home, basically just had the chance to open the tin, look at everything inside, quickly flipt through the artbook, and then I had to sit down and do my CS assignment... which I only finished about 15 minutes before the deadline, ick.

And now I have to finish up my break and get to studying algebra because if I don't know my shit by tomorrow afternoon, I'm not gonna be able to spend time with my mom who's coming up for my doctor's appointment. :( ffffff why is this week so busy, lmao.

I hope I have time to play AC2 tomorrow night, lmao. ;_; Oh and thanks to everyone for their well wishes on my post yesterday. I've been popping Cold FX since I made it home from my test (which went okay!) so I think the cold is staying away, thank god. 8D

I really need some Assassin's Creed icons wtf. :(

Ugggh I woke up crying this morning. x_x; I dreamt that my grandpa died (last remaining grandparent) and I was back home and we were running around trying to prepare for the flight out for the funeral and mom was bitching at everyone and I was fretting about my calculus midterm at the same time and just ugggh it was horrible. D: I was really confused when I woke up though since I'd been crying really hard in the dream and suddenly I... wasn't really crying much at all. XD; I was so glad to wake up though, omg. ;~;

But yeah that really threw me into a funk this morning. I laid in bed longer than I'd intended and ran low on time. I REALLY needed a shower so I took that and by the time I finished up and was nearly ready to go to class, it was 11AM and the last possible bus that gets me there would leave at 11:11 and there's no way I'd make that. (I... don't have a shirt on, let alone the rest of the stuff I need to go outside. hahaha.)

SO I'M SKIPPING CLASS TODAY. 8/ I'll make myself feel better about it by doing the CS assignment due next week really early or something.
Yeah I already gave up on that one-blog-a-day thing. :/ I suck. Oh well.

Today was pretty crappy. I woke up and rolled over to turn on my computers. I've gotten back into using my laptop + external monitor setup recently and since it won't recognize that it has a wifi adapter, I have to share the internet connection from my netbook. Annoying... but it gets the job done. This morning, however? LOL NOPE.

My laptop starts up and about 15 seconds later, it reboots itself. Repeatedly. It'll keep doing that until I hold down the power button to stop it. And the display doesn't work--nothing shows up on the screen whether it's the primary display or an external one. :/ I contacted HP and they gave me a few things to try, one of which was to take out the RAM and remount it.

Sooo I got up, dressed, and headed out. Stopped at Zeller's when I got to the mall hoping they'd have a screwdriver (I don't have one of my own which is why I was out, lol) and while I didn't find one, I did find the Jakks Pichu figure. Omg so cute. ;w; So I bought that and walked up to Home Depot. Someone there helped me figure out what I needed and then I came home. Unfortunately it was all for pretty much nothing since that didn't work. XD; HP has decided it's my motherboard.

I don't really want to spend ~$200 fixing my laptop since diagnosing the actual problem (I don't trust HP) and then repairing it could be pricey. It just wouldn't make sense to pay that much when a new computer isn't too much more. :( I called my parents and asked for advice and we're trying to decide what to do. I don't *NEED* a full computer but it makes things a LOT easier because there's only so much I can do on my netbook with only 1GB ram and a resolution of 1024*600. I'd love to get another decent-sized notebook so I can continue to dual-screen but anything I want is well out of my price range so we're looking at desktops now. This is just... really annoying, because I don't have money much to work with (I don't want my parents paying all of this) and I WAS hoping to save up somewhat for a new DS since mine is dying. ;_; *sigh*

But lol yeah HP made me cry again. :'( Haaaaaaaate it so much. (Honestly how hard can it be to send a box internationally?? Why should the CUSTOMER have to be the one jumping through hoops?) Oh, and sorry to the people I was probably mean to today. Dealing with HP always puts me in an AWFUL mood so I was pretty snippy and unattentive to anyone who popped up on MSN. u_u

*sigh* Well, I got NOTHING done that I'd wanted to get done today. May as well go to bed and try again tomorrow.

I finally remembered to stop in at the grocery store on my way home to buy a tomato and some lettuce. Then I came home and made a really good sandwich omg. 8)

I've done ~absolutely nothing~ ever since. I found out my Mario & Luigi (GBA) file deleted itself which really bugs me because, while I like the game, I'm REALLY bad at it and i was about halfway through--it was hard just to get there. D: So I've pulled it from my now playing list and I'll start it again... some other time. u_u;

In lieu of that I was playing some Elite Beat Agents trying to get to the highest rank but I can't seem to get A-rank (let alone S-rank) on any more songs than I have now so I'm not having much luck. I've set it aside for a while too (because the songs are starting to drive me crazy).

...so instead, I'm grinding in Diamond to get enough money to buy that last ribbon from the rich people place for Marluxia (...my Cherrim :D).
Actually managed to get up on time (yay!) and made it to the bus stop early (yay!) just as the bus pulled away (DDD8). I called a taxi and waited a few minutes but then another bus pulled up anyway so I guess the one I'd missed was just the previous bus running really late, lol. Regardless, I got to campus around 9 and handed in my assignment. C:

Got my bloodwork done. n_n I walked into the lab and there was this nice little old lady sitting in there. She was SO nice and SO good at it. They have a recliner in there and she rested my arm on a pillow while she did the procedure and she got it first try and everything and just... eeee so much better than the last time it happened when it caused my dad to faint. XD

I made a follow-up appointment with the doctor I saw the other day but the only days available were November 16th and 18th. ;_____; The 16th is the day of my last midterm (calculus ugggh) so I really need to spend the day studying. The 18th? That's the day Assassin's Creed II comes out. DDD: Mom wants to come up for that so the day is just gonna be... ugh. Classes in the morning, then doctor's appointment, then mom will chill with me for a bit idk, then I write an algebra quiz. It'll take forever just to go GET the game, let alone play it. BAAAAAW.

Went to classes afterward and didn't feel up to going all the way back home and then back for my afternoon class so I just grabbed lunch and then studied in the library all afternoon. u_u; The quiz I wrote in the afternoon tutorial didn't even have half the stuff they told us to study ugh. The course site specifically said the quiz would be on 3.1 to 3.4 and it was only up until 3.3. I hate when that happens. ~_~

idk if anyone's noticed but... I'm trying to blog every day in November. Even if it's just boring crap like this. :( The beginning-to-mid-week stuff is always gonna be this boring but I swear I'll have less mundane things to talk about later in the week. Maybe. Probably not.

I was doing Calculus at the same time...! But yeah, ended up waking up at like noon.

Spent the rest of the day doing calculus and finished the assignment around 4:30 by which point I figured it would be too much of a hassle to head out to campus to hand it in since I wouldn't even be able to get my bloodwork done before/after. So instead I'm waking up extra early (by which I mean, like, 8 am lol) to get it in by 9:20 tomorrow. *sigh* At least the lab in the clinic is open that early, though, so I should be able to get my blood drawn before my first class so I don't miss any. Yay! (...I guess.)

Ugh, it's nearly midnight. I should head off to sleep. x_x

My sleep last night was amazing. Best one yet, here. *_* It took me a while to get to sleep last night because I actually had too many pillows. I'm used to needing so many but I was so comfortable with just one. It was really strange! It's also a bit uncomfortable to be sleeping on my side which is how I usually prefer it but sleeping on my back was just... really comfy so maybe I'll change my preference or something. I dunno. A++ sleep though. :D

Long story short, I missed algebra this morning and then decided not to bother with calculus since I'd just be leaving early anyway. I... really should've gone though. At least I'd have been on campus. ~_~

The bus I needed to take to get to campus on time was at 11:54. When I was across the street from the bus stop, it was 11:48 and I ran up in time to see the bus pulling away. I ended up walking the whole way to campus which is about a 40 minute walk. I called ahead to let them know I'd be late but... ugh. It didn't help that I seemed to hit every red light along the way and, as I was walking, missed two more buses (not the same one I'd originally been trying to catch but both of them would've dropped me off close enough). Uggh.

Luckily, the doctor was still there and she still saw me even though I was 15 minutes late omg. ♥ ;_; I was so thankful. I gave her the background info and she printed out the blood requisition form for me... and though I only asked for a CBC to be done, she added in a few other things to check. :3 She also gave me a prescription for naproxen since I said cramps were getting bad again and I don't want to be taking percocet (they're ultimately what made me fail last semester x_x). I've tried that before and it never worked but she said I should give it another one since circumstances have changed and whatnot. *shrug* 30 pills ended up only costing me $1.39 so I can't complain even if they don't work. XD;

Anyway, after that I came home and sat around for a while. Studied a bit (I played more Elite Beat Agents than studied but shhh) and then left 10 minutes early for my midterm. So of course, when I'm extra early for the bus, it comes 5 minutes late. *sigh* Oh well. Got there on time and wrote the test. It was longer than the first midterm and not nearly as easy but I think I did okay. :[

Mom wanted me to take a taxi home since the exam was basically over at 9pm but lol, she's super paranoid. 8| Next bus wasn't for a while and I hate standing around so I walked up to Laurier and waited a few minutes for the bus there. Then came home and ate a late dinner and now I'm staring at a blank page of graph paper.

:( Better start my calculus assignment. ick.

I have a midterm tomorrow and I have yet to study for it. Hahaha, oops.

I was pleasantly surprised. Mom & Dad called me before they left Toronto today. They hadn't checked their email so it was a good thing too--I needed them to bring up a fork.

See, apparently every fork in the house has gone missing except for one. I put up a sign last week in the kitchen basically saying "Guys where are all the forks? :(" hoping whoever had them would feel guilted and sheepishly just return them to the sink so everyone could continue using them. No luck. Dean and I had two forks we were using everyday (we're the only ones in the house who consistently prepare meals every night) but I forgot to wash them and put them away in my drawer (hidden with chopsticks lol) after dinner one night and another one went missing, ugh. So yes, my parents brought up one more fork and we will be much more careful with it. My notes may get more and more passive-aggressive if forks don't turn up soon. Gotta start asking roommates about it when I see them too, even though I really only ever see Dean and Matt. x_x

Anyway, parents came up and brought a crapton of stuff. Two more boxes of Coke, two bottles of raspberry juice (omg ♥) and some other things like dry pasta, some soup, etc. Mom also brought me up a 3" memory foam to put over my mattress. It's... it's... it's so fucking comfy omg. I had it decompressing (it was vacuum-sealed, lol) on my bed while we went out and Dean helped me get my bedding on over it when I got home and just... unf. I'm going to have the best sleep ever tonight, I just know it.

But yeah, mom and dad took me out for lunch after that. :') It was nice to just get to sit and talk with just them for a while. We went to Boston Pizza and I had some pasta thing even if I wasnt hungry (I took like... all of it home and had it for dinner later, lol). Then we went to the mall and did a huuuge grocery shop. Mom and I found the discount Halloween candy and we bought sooo much. XD; I must have like 400 mini-size chocolate bars in my closet now. Wonder how long that'll last. (Got some Oh Henrys, Reese's cups and pieces, Smarties, and Aero. ♥) Grabbed more groceries and useful things and yaaay. It was quite awesome.

Didn't do much all day since they went home though. Put everything away, reorganized the bottom of my closet (where I keep snacks and stuff), and then Dean and I were really craving frozen hot chocolates so we walked all the way down University to Second Cup. Omg it was so good. 8) Haven't done anything but chill around and post on PC after we got home, yay.

...damn, when did it get so late? Matt just knocked and asked if I wanted to watch Dexter but I have to decline since I've gotta get to bed to make sure I'll be up in time to get to campus for my doctor's appointment. (...at 12:15pm. Shut up.)

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it here but... 358/2 put me on a real KH kick so I've been replaying KH1. It's veeery slow because not only is the battle system so clunky (camera I hate you so hard) but I'm playing on Proud Mode. Oh, and playing the FM version so enemies have more HP and abilities arrive at weird levels. It's been very trying.

But! I am finally up to the part I wanted to get to. The @#$*ing second Riku fight! Let me tell you, being able to skip that freaking cutscene was practically orgasmic because oh my god I can fail epically in this fight and not have to watch the 3 minute cutscene each time I retry. *_* This is the main reason I bought FM! (No, seriously. I knew if I ever played through KH1 again, I wanted the ability to skip cutscenes just for this one fight.)

I still suck at the fight though. My current strategy is to Strike Raid my way through the whole thing, bringing in several ethers and a few elixers. Then I just dodge roll when he spazzes at me and repeat the cycle. I haven't gotten used to dodge rolling in such close quarters but... I will! I just need more practise but not right now because it's 3:30AM.

I must admit, though, it's a lot of fun playing through this game and going, "Haha, the Organization is totally watching his every move." And then imagining how often they'd be facepalming at my constant failures. ("Did he just... just jump off the edge back to the basement? Really? fml i hate my job.") I think my friend and I have decided that every time I revive, it's them going "Oh shit, our Keyblade Master" and curing me, replenishing my items, and dragging me out to safer ground. XD; <s>IT MAKES MY CONSTANT DEATH EASIER TO DEAL WITH, OKAY?</s>

Ahahaha omg.

Around 10ish, my roommate invited me to watch Dexter with him and, since it beats staying up till 4am waiting for a torrent, I jumped at the chance. So we watched it and then we were just talking about random shit for a while. We watched two more episodes (so we watched the new one, then the one before it, then the new one again xD) and just dorked around. Then we were talking about iPod/iPhone apps and he mentioned the Dexter one. I'd heard the game on the App Store is actually pretty good so he bought it and we started playing it.

Omfg we kept laughing our asses off. XD It's a good game--it looks good, it sounds good, and overall the gameplay isn't that bad--but ugggh parts of it are just so hilariously bad. Or we're bad at it. Or something. Like I just spent half an hour trying to do a two minute mission where you have to pick the lock on a door, run from that door into another room before a dog gets you, and then find all this guy's porn. If you fail at the running part, you have to smash the window. But just... lmfao. It was sooo hard and his iPod wasn't being very responsive so it was basically just a game of chance. XD I was doing okay on my last try and just as I had to do the hardest part (running from the back door to this guy's room), his dog (er, roommate's, so it actually happened XD) jumps up between my legs and the game so I couldn't see what I was doing... and somehow that was the only time I managed to do it.

Lmao it doesn't sound funny now but aklfjsdlf we liked died laughing omg. And then we simultaneously realized it was pretty much 4am, haha. But wow, it's an addictive gmae but I probably wouldn't play it on my own. It was just too much fun playing with someone else. XD; Like this other part, we took Rita on a date and even though we didn't really want to, we decided to be extra super nice to her--and we didn't get laid. :'( After tonight's episode we have an ongoing joke about Dexter having to sleep outside no matter how much of a model husband he is, etc. so it tied in rather nicely. 8D;

But lol, I'm not too tired which is bad. 8|;; I'm gonna go eat cereal and try to sleep though. *sigh* :(

Um, haven't made an entry in a while. Again. Oops.

Point form!

→ Thanksgiving was good. Mom was in Vegas (one of my cousins was getting married there) so I just chilled with my dad and my brother. Had massive cramps on Saturday and part of Sunday which sucked since I didn't get to see triforce89 but I got lots of sleep over the weekend, ate LOTS OF GOOD FOOD and it was basically just super awesome.

→ Brain!surgery cousin is okay!! ♥ Doctors were amazed but he's doing really well. He's home already because instead of taking weeks/months to relearn how to walk and whatnot, it took him a few days. He's retained all his memories and speech and everything and... he's actually planning to go back to school soon. O_O; Lmao I feel like such an underachiever now, haha. I'm just glad he's okay.

→ Mom came up last weekend. She brought me food, my boots, and some other stuff. We went out for lunch. Went to the mall and they added an entirely new section. I knew they were reno'ing but wow. EB Games moved to a bigger storefront and are now a Gamestop. I picked up Dead Space. Mom also bought me a pair of $50 slippers because they were so comfy and I needed a new one. ;~; omgg I love them so much. Also she bought my groceries. I love herrr. So glad I got to see her since I didn't at Thanksgiving. :'D Wish we'd had more time to talk with just the two of us though. I need to go home again sometime.

→ Started playing Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix last week. It's SO HARD omg. D: I'm playing on Proud Mode and I'm not used to the shitty camera, nor am I used to the controls. (Though thank god it's got the Japanese controls or I'd be dying even more than I am now!) It took me like 3 or 4 hours today just to beat the Cave of Wonders. x_x I'm at level 22 and I don't get guard until 33 because for some reason I decided to choose magic at the beginning of the game. Boo.

→ So close to complete in KH 358/2 Days. :'D I need about 10 more challenge sigils and I'll mark it completed on Backloggery. (I waited until level 100 with the Japanese version but I'm not going to let myself do that again.)

→ HAVE I MENTIONED I LIKE KINGDOM HEARTS? eeeeeee the trailer for BBS that came out this week. sdklfsd want so much!! I'm glad it has a release date (January 9 fuck yeah!) but it's gonna be a lot. x_x; $60ish in Japan and by the time I import, it'll probably be close to $100, ugh. I'll probably try to swing it as my Christmas present and then I can get the one-day shipping and not be paying as much as I would. Otherwise I'm gonna be spoiler-avoiding for half a month again and that sucked. DD: (Yeah, I'm importing. I'm impatient with KH games!)

→ Got accepted into the social networking preview on XBL. :D Yay twitter! I doubt I'll use it much on there though, since I don't have a keypad and I usually play with a computer near me anyway. (That and it's a standalone app on the dashboard?) Haven't had a chance to try out Facebook yet though I probably will over the weekend. I wish Last.fm was available in Canada. ;__;

→ Ordered Microsoft Windows 7 today! :DD I added the CD to my cart so it'll be shipped home sometime but I'll be downloading it and reformatting my netbook to install it this weekend, likely tomorrow. Just have to back everything up and make sure I have my wifi driver downloaded first.

→ Not going into much detail but it involves my FAVOURITE TMI HEALTH ISSUE that you can probably read back on if you're curious. But anyway, my doctor is a little worried, apparently, and is suggesting I get "complete bloodwork" done. But since I don't have an official requisition form, I have to go to a doctor here to get one so I have an appointment on Nov 2nd at the campus clinic. I have a midterm that day so while I can go in and update them on my health status and get the papers, I'll have to wait on the bloodwork. I'm not so good with it and I don't wanna do anything to compromise the test even if it'd be hours before. v_v

→ Final exam schedule is out! The first one I saw on it was my CS exam which is December 22nd. ffffffffff. That's the last day of the exam period. XD; Luckily, I checked the others and I'm pretty sure they go Dec 19 (Saturday), December 21 (Monday) and then the Tuesday one. Thank god! I emailed my family about it and mom said she'll drive me home after classes end around Dec 6th and then she'll drive me back out for my exams and then home again. D'aww. :')

Why do my point form entries always end up so long omg.

HI GUYS KINGDOM HEARTS 358/2 DAYS HAS STOLEN MY SOUL.

...AGAIN.

:| You'd think I'd be absolutely sick of this game by now but I'm not. It's actually really awesome to play through this and go "holy crap I translated all of it right!!" since I played the Japanese version. I actually completed it (100% EVERYTHING) last week just in time <s>to do it all over again</s> for the NA release. Yay! I'm currently on day... 174? I want to hit 179 before I go to bed tonight just for the dork factor. (358/2=179... get it? Get it?)

It's... really nice to play through it while a bunch of others are. triumphantchaos and I have basically been neck and neck the whole time, usually only a few missions ahead and behind each other so I actually have someone to fangirl each day with omfg. ;o; Playing through the Japanese was fun but it's sooo awesome being able to actually talk to people about it. We just come up with stupid scenarios for everything and it's so much fun omg.

Oh, and I was actually really happy! I preordered the game a few weeks ago, soon after I moved back to Waterloo, and I wasn't sure if we'd get the same preorder bonuses here in Canada as they did in the US. But when I went to pick up my game on Tuesday, I walked away with the postcards and the poster. (The poster is huuuge!) I also bought the guide book because it's a good size. :> Not quiiite as detailed as the Ultimania, obviously, but it's far more impressive than I'd expected. Still want the Ultimania though. <s>And will buy it once I have more to combine it with so that shipping isn't pricier than the books themselves fffffff.</s>

Uhh aside from KH I haven't been doing anything. I have my first midterm on Monday though! It's ridiculous... classes started on the 14th and then first midterm on October 5th? Laaaaame. It'll be pretty easy though, I guess. It's not like we've covered much at all. I just know I'm either going to juuuust finish KH in time to get a bit of studying in on Sunday/Monday or else I'm going to have to put down the game just when I'm at the climax and be antsy to finish it when I start studying. Baaaw. :( At least I know what happens though so I won't be too tempted to ditch studying for gaming, haha.

That's... about it. I watched Year One with my roommate today. It was okay. I'm not a huuuge fan of Jack Black but the movie was better than I expected. XD; And now... I'm gonna go back

Oh btw, not overly happy with the translation of Marluxia's default weapon. ("Fickle Erica"). I'm happy they kept my name in it, obviously, but I wanted something cooler sounding to match the Japanese. Traitorous Erica or Treacherous would've been pretty awesome. But MAJOR POINTS for having a "Fearsome Anise" LOL. Oh Marluxia, ilu. ;~;

sasdklfjklsdfg

ADKLDFJKLGHLDKH

:( DEXTER SEASON 4 EPISODE 1 WHAT WAS THAT CLIFFHANGER AAAAGH.

This episode reminded me "oh yeah, I've seen like 4 episodes of season 2" because I had no fucking clue what some of the flashbacks were in the "last time on dexter". XD; When I go home for Thanksgiving (or if mom comes up early after that), I'll grab our discs of it to watch. \o/

Anyway!

I'd totally forgotten the season premiere was today. I know it leaked on the net a month ago but I persevered and did not watch it because I also heard there was a cliffhanger at the end and did NOT want to be waiting forever for ep 2. But yeah, Matt came into the kitchen today as Dean and I were doing dishes and reminded me. (To which Dean responded later, "Oh, Desperate Housewives premieres today too!" :|) So around midnight Matt knocked on my door and invited me to watch it in HD with him. eeee. :> So now I'm covered in dog fur (damnit, my pyjamas, too... I'd already changed XD) but very contented.

Episode was good! I loooooved seeing exasperated!Dexter. XD; It's just funny seeing him trying to keep up with typical daddy chores. The courtroom scene was just DDD8 though. Baaaw. Poor Dexter. But my favourite part was totally the sex scene. LOL. JUST LOL.

"The baby's asleep, and you know what that means."
"Sleep. ♥"
"Sex. ♥"
"...."

And then the look on Dexter's face ahahahaha. That was great.

Ugggh the beginning of the episode was so awkward though. (I know I'm skipping around a lot. Oh well. XD) Honestly, I really only know John Lithgow from 3rd Rock from the Sun so I was SO NOT EXPECTING HIM TO... well... you know. :| Sexually assault and murder a young woman in a bathtub lmfao so creepy. ;o; I'm used to him being quirky and weird lmaoo.

ffff the end though. ;_; I knew it ended with a cliffhanger (this is why I hate spoilers of any kind) so when the episode was nearing its end I got sooo nervous. Like. hauuu when he was waiting for his victim to wake up, I thought he was just gonna fall asleep and wake up and the guy was gonna be gone or something. Then I figured when his phone rang, that Rita would hear the guy screaming for help. Then I thought for a second that he'd run out to the pharmacy, go home, and then come back and the guy would be gone/found. XD; And then when he was driving home it was obvious an accident would happen but I didn't know what kind and ffff Dexter are you okay and where are your body parts oh god. DDD:

DDDDDD:

I am so glad I didn't download this ahead of time. XD; idk how I could've waited for next week.

It's exciting to be able to keep up with this regularly again! :D Last time I was able to do this was with S1 but I didn't even start watching it until halfway through so it barely counts. XD;

lol sorry. v_v; This was just the most exciting thing to happen to me all day lmao.

I don't remember too much of my dream from last night but I do remember it was the apocalypse or something. A lot happened but the part that stands out the most was near the end. Everywhere was flooding and we were going to try to drive to higher ground and I had to go get my brother. I found him in the basement playing Guitar Hero and he insisted he be able to finish his song. Then he got really mad at me for turning off the TV so he wouldn't drown. D: And then I couldn't find my shoes. It was very distressing.

The worst part is I can totally see him doing that. Stupid brother. :'(

I should really be doing my CS assignment if I don't want to have to do it on Tuesday after I pick up 358/2 but ffffff I can't concentrate. So instead I'm listening to <s>and singing along to</s> the Lion King soundtrack.

HI GUYS I need to get back into the groove of posting. I'm so lazy this year. :( My first page of posts goes back to July omg. Erica stop being so lame.

Then again, it's not like I've done anything worthwhile. XD; I did my assignments early last week and then on Tuesday, Matt asked if I wanted to go down to Blockbuster with him to check out the game selections and rent one (since he gets free rentals). So we did and I picked up, in a very stupid move, Lost Odyssey. :| First of all I thought it was two discs, not FOUR. XD; I basically got like 6 hours in and I have to give it back by Monday night but loool I've barely done anything. v_v; I played it the first day, and haven't really touched it since.

Instead I've been slaving away on 358/2 Days trying to get the Japanese version complete before the English release on Tuesday. I finally managed to get all the trial symbols (I was translating one wrong and it became SO easy once I started doing it right XD), I got all the gold crowns I need to unlock stuff, and I maxed out my level at 100. SO FABULOUS. \o/ But I've been neglecting schoolwork so I'm planning to do that today and then hopefully play Lost Odyssey as much as possible on Sunday and possibly Monday. I'm planning on buying it eventually anyway so at least I won't feel too bad leaving it unfinished. XD;

But yeah, I'm super proud of completing 358/2. Even if I'm just gonna be doing it all again in under a week anyway.

jesus erica get off your bed and go shower you have groceries to go buy.

POSTING THIS FROM HOME

I HAVE INTERNET

EEEEEEEEEEEEE *DANCE*

I dragged my butt out of bed at 8 this morning since I was told the Rogers guy would be here between 8 and 11. I, with good reason, assumed he'd be here later rather than earlier but lo and behold, as I was pouring myself some cereal, there's a knock on the door. He was in and out in under 30 minutes, awesome!

I ended up having the router set up downstairs on top of the TV since it's in a central enough location that we shouldn't have a problem all connecting. Except me. Because my laptop rarely has wireless internet. But I can get around that if need be--I've been doing it for a year now, after all. I'm just glad to not have to worry about missing stuff, only having a few hours of access a day, and I can come home right after class now too. \o/

If I missed any important posts over the last two weeks, let me know. :>

HAY GUYS HOW IS EVERYONE?

I'm holding up without internet. It hurts but the pain lessens everyday. Or something like that.

Mm... first day of classes was today. I'm actually still on campus but my classes ended at 12:20 today. I normally have class 10:30-12:20 on Mondays and then a tutorial at 5:30 PM (ffffffff) so I haven't decided if I'll chill on campus every Monday (and Wednesday which has the same hours, more or less) or go home and come back. We'll see!

My Calculus class was full like whoa but the prof (whose last name is "Best" and I am jealous) signed my override form so I'm in. :) That class is good and the prof is funny but he doesn't speak too loudly so I'm gonna have to make sure I get a seat near the front every time--but that's okay because my class directly before it is literally one classroom away so I just walk out of the first and into the second. Kick ass.

My first prof is... different. XD; We got a geography lesson, European history lesson, Canadian history lesson, religion and language lesson all in one. We only did algebra for the last 10 minutes and even then it was basically "SUBSTITUTION IS LAME AND ELIMINATION IS PRETTY RAD BUT NOT AS COOL AS WHAT WE'RE ABOUT TO--OH WHOOPS OUT OF TIME". He actually let us make the course outline ourselves. :| Originally it was gonna be a final and some quizzes, but he asked us and added in a midterm. Then we were really close to getting a MATLAB assignment but more people voted no on it. ;_; Oh well.

After my classes, I went to hand in the override form and then when I was wandering through SLC, I noticed Rogers had a tent up and were talking about internet. I wandered over and said I was interested and the guy... took down my name and address right there. o_O; So it looks like by the end of the week (or a little later), we'll be getting the student special installed. :] 10MBps download and 95GB/month usage for like $40. Niiice. Do want. ♥

Mm... not much else to say. Dad surprised me by showing up at my front door unannounced on Thursday night which was great because all my roommates were out and I was lonely and hungry because I had no food. He'd been golfing in Guelph and figured it was pretty close. So we went out to grab something quick and it was really nice. Mom came up the next day and brought me some necessities. Like a bookshelf, a hanging compartment for my closet, and some more pillows. XD; We went out for lunch, saw 9, and then did some grocery shopping. :D So now my kitchen is all stocked up, yay!

Now I need to go pick up some hooks to put on the wall and some poster tape for Dean.
