MAN LOL I'M SO TIRED AAAAH. I have a bunch of videos to upload but I'll do that later. For now I just want to stay up a few more hours and then just get some sleep in my own bed with no crazy people. 8D; I'm also really glad I'm not heading up to Waterloo tomorrow per the original plan lol. I get a week off to just laze around and I intend to make full use of that time to... laze around. Yes.

On Thursday, a lovely anon bought me a rename token after a conversation on twitter. I've had *such* a busy weekend that I didn't have a time to sit down and use it. I messaged whoever owns the account "cherrim" on LJ but no response all weekend so I've decided to go with the name I presume it was bought for. :> jigglypuff noticed that "cherubi" wasn't taken so I snagged it. ♥! No more fornication jokes, sadly, but oh well. This'll take a bit of getting used to.

2. ANIME NORTH. PEOPLE. OMG. ;______; Both eternalaegis and ausaudriel went home today. Audy'd been here since Thursday afternoon and Jeef since Friday morning. I MISS THEM SO MUCH ALREADY OMGGG. Real con report coming later when I'm not deathly tired but I just miss everyone. ;~; I want it to be next year. We had SO much fun. I was worried it might get a bit awkward but from the moment I found Audy at the airport to hugging him goodbye and everything in-between, it was just amazing. There was like zero awkwardness and it was just like our crazy 9inchpizza conversations in real life form. Next year can't come soon enough!

Well, first off, it was my first day of work today. I was pretty tired all day yesterday so I managed to get to bed around midnight and I don't think I was awake when 1 AM hit. Thus I actually got a nearly-acceptable amount of sleep and I wasn't completely dead when I got up at 6:10. Work went well. I somehow haven't forgotten a thing so I was able to jump right in and get back to business pretty quickly. Got about 30 minutes of overtime in because dad took forever getting ready to go. I'll be working 4 days a week and tomorrow is my first off day, haha. (Dad's golfing tomorrow and wouldn't be able to bring me in.) I kinda missed it there. My dad and I had an office chair fight for a bit. :')

Anyway, aside from that not much else is new. Looking forward to Anime North. :] I'm actually really excited for this month. Mother's Day is this weekend and while I haven't actually thought of what to get mom, we always have a nice dinner that day so yaaay. The week after is a long weekend. We've got nothing planned but extra days off are always welcome. (Mind you, work is going to be SO BUSY in the next bit while liquor stores stock up for the May long weekend. >_<) Then ANIME NORTH the week after and I don't even have to explain that one. Then the week after that? 358/2 Days comes out and will be on its way to me. :> May is just awesome whooo.

All that out of the way, I'm kind of curious eljay. What's with Dreamwidth? I know everyone's migrating (even though everyone did that with Inksome and something else too and then came right back to LJ) but why? I can't imagine it's great for RPing or even all that great for fostering community discussion since from what I can tell even making communities needs a stand-alone invite code. Is it just so everyone can snag an awesome name and then forget about it? Is anyone using it for something other than their LJ (ie, posting art, fic, etc.)? Is everyone cross-posting? What's the deal? :( I wanna keep up with you guys but I'm not paying $3 for a month of paid time* just to get an account and apparently they're stingy with the invites so... idk. ._.;

ANIME NORTH HOTEL IS BOOKED!

David popped up on MSN tonight saying he was probably going to come to Anime North this year and asked what the collective plans were. Of course, aside from Audy asking a few questions the other week, we'd honestly made no plans. XD; So we grabbed everyone together and hammered out some details. By the end of the night, we'd booked two rooms at the Renaissance. ♥ I can't wait! :3

THOUGH REALLY, YOU GUYS CAN'T ALL SLEEP WITH ME GOD. :( Lmao by the end of the conversation I think everyone had called whatever room I was sleeping in. JEEZ YOU'RE ALL SO CREEPY lol.

So uhh... that was Anime North! Yes, it took me over a week to write this. :( I can't wait for next year. In other news, I made myself a TWEWY mood theme over the weekend. :D I'm really happy with how it turned out. I also got a PSP and Crisis Core on Friday. I started CC but realized I suck at the battle system so I'm gonna restart and play on normal. Not sure what possessed me to pick hard mode. I didn't get very far so it shouldn't be a problem. I haven't touched it much yet though. Still playing TWEWY. @__@;

I'm feeling a lot better, too! The antibiotics helped with the bronchitis and now it's pretty much just a cold tapering off. Mind you, I'm also perpetually high because of my painkillers so maybe I'm just not noticing this stuff. XD

Today was good again too! I woke up a little late and had to rush my shower and getting ready, but everything feels better when you know you've only got a half day ahead of you. xD Work was okay. I was sufficiently busy to not be bored for most of the day. I have a meeting at 10, though, so I do have to go back. But oh well. Today was also payday. ♥

Aaand... I walked home. Yesterday was gorgeous so I did a lot of walking. It wasn't as nice today, but it wasn't raining or anything. I'm going to try to bring my iPod everyday since it's really relaxing just listening to music and walking home. I need to do it more often. *_*

Um um. Oh! I also sent in my payment for Anime North. :D My anime club is organizing the trip there and I already paid them for my hotel ages ago, but today I mailed a cheque for the bus trip and my pass. Awesomely enough, my pass will be reimbursed to me. 8D Instead of paying $45, I'm essentially paying $5, which is pretty awesome. I can't waaaait.

I think that's about it? Aside from the 10'o'clock meeting tonight, I don't have all that much ahead of me. :'D Just gonna relax and watch TV or play a few games. Don't have to worry about my brother getting in the way because the parents are pissed at him for not doing homework again. *sigh*

Anyway, today was good. Dad told me he had a meeting at a brewery today, but it was actually an interview at the same time. He said the people there really liked them and he'd heard from a contact that they were looking for a plant manager. But yeah, he really liked working with Labatt's so I hope he gets the job. It's completely perfect for him and he was really excited when he was telling us about how the pay wouldn't be as low as he expected (it's an independent brewery so he was a little concerned, I guess) and the atmosphere was really nice and they liked him and this is becoming a run-on sentence. But yeah. He hasn't been very impressed with the job opportunities that he's found so far in his hunt so I reeeeeally want him to get this one. :'D There's apparently a restaurant attached to the brewery so he's taking us out for dinner there on Saturday. I'm so excited for him. :D

Haha, and that's really all. Hoping to head to bed soon. With this cold I've caught and the late-night convos, I've been having terrible sleeps. D8 I hope I can catch up on that this week instead of waiting for the weekend. I'm sick of sleeping in until 12 every weekend and then continuing to screw myself over for getting to bed earlier on weeknights. XD; I'll go to bed in 10 minutes though. And fix iiiit. ♥

The masquerade wasn't as good as the other years. They let everyone in at the same time (WTF. WE WERE IN LINE FOR TWO HOURS AND WE GOT SUCH SHITTY SEATS BECAUSE THE LAST PEOPLE TO ARRIVE GOT IN AT THE SAME TIME AS THE FIRST PEOPLE TO ARRIVE WHAT THE FUCK KIND OF ARRANGMENT IS THAT WHAT THE HELL.) and the skits for the most part, weren't as good. x_o The MC was great though (as were the Reboot cosplayers omgggg). And Picto-chatting with people was fun too until some retard kept drawing penises and it got boring.

And then last night, Caitlin just fell asleep on the floor in her sleeping bag. We aren't sure how she managed that, nor how she stayed asleep, because Dean, Alyssa and I were up until 4 AM playing Pokémon Stadium 2 and we were very loud. :x
