I went to bed early last night! By early, I mean like...midnight...but still. o_o; I ate ice cream and I was gonna go downstairs and play some ToL but...then I changed my mind and went upstairs to bed. I woke up every few hours but otherwise it was a good sleep. @_@ Woke up around 10:30...and got out of bed at 6:30. It took eight hours to be able to move well enough to go all the way downstairs without having to throw up or whatever~ That...really sucked. xD I basically just read Bleach and played DS until the batteries died. It was very boring. Then at dinner, dad spilled a whole bottle of wine on me. It was just opened when I came to the table and somehow his arm slipped and it fell over, splashing me. So, I got wine in my eyes and they hurt, so I had to go wash them out. Body didn't like the sudden movement so cramping was up for over an hour later. I had to go take a shower since, well, I was covered in wine, but I had to wait forever after finishing dinner since I knew I'd never make it upstairs. D: Mom waited with me and talked, but it didn't help at all. She's going to Saskatoon on Friday and that means she won't be here for when I have the follow-up with my gynecologist. And turns out dad's work is doing budgeting around then so he may not be able to get out of it for an afternoon to drive me to my appointment. x_x I don't wanna wait another month, though, so I'll taxi it there if I have to. *shakes fist* <_< Um, other than that, not much. Finally had my shower now and I'm downstairs. o_o; Read Absolute Boyfriend and Black Cat (vol1 of both :O) and now...debating whether to risk going downstairs and finding mom on the TV down there (I wanna play ToL ;_;) or just stay here and keep reading Death Note. @_@;

So, today was fun. I woke up at... 11:15 or so and was almost immediately thereafter called by Kura confirming the time of the movie and asking if she could come over for a while beforehand since her mom was going out and she'd have no way of getting there otherwise. So, she came over and I scrambled to get ready (or, rather, scrambled to wake up at the very least). Killed time by playing a bit of TOS. Or... she watched me and I probably made her very bored. <__< Well, at least I got the stupid leaf thingy to save Colette. Now all that's left is getting the Zircon and I can head up to Derris-Kharlan. <3 Mmm... moving on. Met Triffy at the theatre. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was even better the second time. I'd even see it again if I got the chance. Here's hoping I don't get up to the brink of obsession like I did with Nightmare Before Christmas a while back. (That's still lingering, too, as you'll see later in the entry.) o_o An obsession like that now would be expensive...especially since the movie's still in theatres. But anyway, IMAX was good. The screen is much clearer, which is one of the things I tend to dislike about seeing movies in theatres. After the movie, we head down to Pizza Pizza. Triffy'd never been there before! We all shared a medium cheese pizza (for which the guy at the counter must have thought we were retards for ordering because we kept declining any offers to put anything in addition to cheese on it) and then Kura and I felt really bad since the only drinks they gave us were soft drinks which Triffy doesn't drink. @_@; [That's actually pretty stupid on their part since milk is cheaper than the soft drinks.] Er, after that I dragged them to Best Buy where I tried to find the soundtrack to CatCF, but to no avail. I also checked HMV, but they were sold out and already had four on backorder. Pfft. That's what I get for trying to be a supportive consumer. I don't really know why I try, sometimes, since it's perfectly legal for me to just download the whole thing here in Canada. I checked Chapters too, but that was a far cry to begin with, so I wasn't too surprised to not find it. I did, however, find Nightmare Before Christmas manga at Chapters. Yes, manga. By Jun Asuga. It's basically the movie in graphic novel form... but it was manga, and Nightmare...so I obviously bought it. I finished it when I got home and it's actually really good! I've seen the movie so much recently that it was kind of redundant, but I do really enjoy the art. Sally looks great in it. She's so pretty. <3 It also adds a few things to it, such as the characters' thoughts throughout the GN, something that was rather lacking in the movie. It doesn't do that very much though, sadly. Anyway, I need to ask my mom to bring me back there so I can ask for beg for buy a "Learn Mandarin" book with my own money, since she's already said that even though learning languages is an academic hobby, she doesn't support it financially. ;_; After that we went to Toys'R'Us and finally home. On the way home my dad attempted to stop at Factory Direct to get a new monitor (since, apparently, while I was out today the monitor on the "new" computer shorted out and stopped working). T'was closed, though, so by the looks of it I'm stuck with the laptop for the next 24 hours... which isn't entirely bad on its own but I was hoping to be able to colour or work on PC's new style. Oh well. I just ate dinner after that paragraph...and now I've completely forgotten what I was going to write about. o_o I have to get off pretty soon anyway, since my mom wants me to play a game of Tile Rummy with my grandpa to help him clear his mind and take it off of recent things. (Today he visted Hamilton with my mom for the last time during his visit...it was the last time he'll ever see his brother who has cancer ._.) Um, yeah. I'm off. Hopefully I can find the soundtrack to download. *does so*

Today was pretty eventful. I shall start from the beginning. I woke up at 11 and had to do papers. :O It was boring, but that's okay because we were going to Chinatown today to meet my aunt and uncle for lunch. We took the subway downtown and walked to Spadina. We still had about 20 minutes before our reservation time, so we all split up; my dad waited for the relatives at the restaurant, my mom went to some random store, and I went to one of the anime stores I like. I didn't think it would be out so soon, but it was! I picked up the twelfth and final volume of Gravitation! ^____^ More on that later, though. After that, we went to the restaurant and we were eventually seated. :O The restaurant was pretty boring. It was a dim-sum place, so people came around with little carts of food and you just picked whatever you wanted to eat. It's sort of like a buffet without the extra effort of having to get up and find food. However... none of the good stuff ended up coming around until AFTER we had paid our bill. ;_; That really sucked. Oh well. As we were waiting to go, I blogged from my mobile, though I was rushed at the end hence my lack of punctuation. XD; What it says is true. ;_; My uncle, once again, wore his @&*$ing short-shorts. And if he wasn't eating ENTIRE FISH (head, bones, EVERYTHING), he was eating this godawful smelling soup or talking about dancing. God, it's all he does. x_x Yuck, yuck, yuck. So anyway, after we left the restaurant, mom asked if I wanted to go to Kikiwai. I said okay since whenever I go there she always pays for my stuff and I never end up paying her back. (Of course, I can buy all SORTS of stuff while I'm in Chinatown, but GODFORBID I should be allowed to buy the SAME AMOUNT OF MANGA online. *still sore about not being able to order the TOS manga ;_;*) Anyway, the relatives wanted to see the store for some reason so they came too. o_O; Blah, I ended up getting volume three of DN Angel and volume 4 (the last one!) of Eerie Queerie. ^__^ Mmm... then we came home and I worked on my dad's commission. Well, it wasn't a very good commission considering I refused to take pay for it (because he did the dishes for me about 8 days in a row XD). I don't think I'll be putting it on DA since, well, it's a commission meaning it's supposed to be only for one person to see. x.o; He wants to give it to his co-worker friend who retires this year. ^^; Apparently he and this other guy who're retiring are nicknamed after Itchy and Scratchy from the Simpsons for... some reason. So I was asked to draw them. I did, and amazingly enough, I actually FINISHED it *proud.* It turned out okay, save for a few places where the marker bled and how I got lazy at the end. Ta-da~ (I'm also kinda proud of myself for drawing something that ISN'T anime style... I haven't drawn cartoons like this in... well, ages. And Farley doesn't count, though I do have this really strange desire to draw him now. oO) ( Now, about the ending of Gravi. (Don't click if you don't want spoilers, though I'm really just ranting about the entire series...) )xD Didn't mean to type that much. Oh well. I think I'll shut up now. :D
