Wow, I'm really tired. I stayed up pretty late last night talking with Andy, Jake, David, Jorfe, and Mork...and then a few of us started playing Mario Kart DS. Jake, Mork, David and I tried to race against each other, but we could never find each other--not as a group, anyway. The first time I searched for them, I ended up facing Triffy, which was very confusing, but fun. He went easy on me, which was good since I hadn't played the game in about half a year. Then I faced Mork a couple times. I won the first set of matches since I kept getting awesome luck near the end of races by getting mushrooms. He won the second set, though. Then we gave up since every time we'd try to connect with Jake, we'd find each other and by then we were sick of each other. XD As a result, when mom woke me up early (okay, okay, it was around 10), I was really tired. I got up anyway, though, and we did yard work. Raking and picking up pine needles...oh joy. Needless to say, that sucked. Then I had to come in and do dishes and clean the kitchen. And before I even had the chance to sit down, we were off to Uniform Basics. Five minutes into that drive, mom turns around and says there's not point because she was sure it was to close at 4 PM and it was about 3:15 at that point. I told her we were going to get milk no matter what since we were out, so we did. She actually spent about 20 minutes getting milk along with roughly half the items at the store; I shouldn't have asked to wait in the car. We came home after that, only for her to find out on UB's website that they close at 5 PM. Argh. We left again and actually got there this time after about a 30 or 40 minute drive. I can't remember now. We ended up getting a new pair of male pants since mine didn't fit anymore (the guy pants have pockets...none of the female styles do), a new sweater since both my old ones have holes in them, and then attempted to get two new shirts, but they didn't have any pre-crested ones in my size, so we ordered them and have to pick them up in about a week or so. These are all clothes for school, by the way, since mine is a uniform school. XD This is probably the last time I'll ever go uniform shopping! That's...almost depressing. Mom made me drive home from there, which sucked because I didn't have sunglasses and the sun was in my eyes every time we faced West. It hurt and I hated it because it was really hard to see where I was going. We went to Sam's Club, though, and mom bought some stuff for dinner tomorrow (which she apparently couldn't get at Longo's when she was there earlier o_o). Then we went to Michael's so I could get a sketchbook; the school isn't buying them for us this year. ( And then we went home, where I continued working on...a wallpaper! )Also, during dinner, I asked if we could go skiing this year, and dad said yes. And then he asked where I wanted to go, and they didn't say no to Colorado. ^__^ So, hopefully we'll go there this winter. Even though they say that if we go there, we don't get a summer vacation...which is stupid, since we could just drive there and skip our NJ trip and I don't see the big cost difference. <_< We'll see how this goes, anyway. Oh! I also have a new default icon now. *shows it off*

*so just went on an icon stealing spree* XD I've been too lazy to make my own lately. Like, I reeeeally want to, and I'll even have Photoshop open and everything but...actually doing stuff takes so much effort. *whine* Anyway, evidently I didn't go back and edit that earlier post. My parents took forever signing all these papers so when we finally got home, I had only enough time to pack my bag for tutoring and get the hell out. @_@; We were a bit late for that, but oh well. IT kinda sucked today since he made me do most of the math and I was NOT in a math type of mindset. So he probably thinks I'm stupid again now since I did so many things wrong (stupid mistakes--normally I wouldn't be that bad, but I was so tired and...and...*complain*) But right. The van. It's new and, um, yeah. o_o; It's a Toyota Sienna, and it's really nice, but I miss the old van. ;_; We'd had it since '96 and the new one just seems so...new? XD I dunno. I resented it mildly up until after tutoring. Close to home, dad pulled over and we switched so I could test it out. It drives so nicely! omg! :DD That was also pretty damn awesome since I was the SECOND person to drive it (not counting people who drove it at the dealership XD). Haha, I drove the new vehicle before mom did. :D But whatever, it's really nice. They should have picked dark red for the colour, but I can live with steel blue or whatever we got.Um, right. I originally got on just to make this quick post but then got sidetracked with the icon stuff. I'm so, so tired now. *was ready to go to bed at 5 PM but couldn't* XD So Erica is OFF TO BED to get a good night's rest so she can feel very guilty tomorrow for doing NO Japanese work (since, let's face it, I'm not going to) and yeah. :3 *wanders upstairs*

I even TOLD my brother I'd reserved the computer mostly for the first half of break because after and during that I'd be doing homework and possibly incapacitated because of the wisdom teeth thing. So of course, chances are I won't get the good computer at ALL this week because he fucking sacrifices sleep in order to get on Maplestory. (I swear, I heard the kid up at SEVEN this morning and he went to bed later than I did...and I was asleep around two.) hatehatehate. He doesn't even sign off when he gets off...he just leaves it open even if he's not doing anything and we can't do anything else because whenever Maplestory is open for a long period of time, it messes with explorer.exe, so we have no taskbar and have to run everything from Task Manager--and even then it usually doesn't work. And I can't restart or he'll yell at me. Just...argh. I really want on right now because I have a bunch of icons made and two of them aren't very good because I have to fix the text--it's too dark. I can't on my laptop though because the screen isn't good enough and it looks fine on it, so I wouldn't know if it was fixed or not and I'm not gonna keep uploading and checking on this computer; that's ridiculous. So now I can't post another batch until like...late tonight when he'll get booted off so mom can check e-mail. x_x; It's so frustrating. So I've definitely decided I'm NOT getting him MX cash or whatever...the stuff you buy online so you can get special money in the game to buy accessories and stuff that you can't get otherwise. It'll just make him want to play it more. x_x; But I also have no other ideas, so that sucks. I think we're going out for dinner or something tonight. We were gonna go see a movie too but nothing is on that my brother would watch. >_>;; I want to see Memoirs of a Geisha or Brokeback Mountain but Bryan won't sit through those (and I doubt mom would let him watch the latter XD) and mom doesn't wanna leave him out of seeing something. Just...argh. xX;; In other news: LOOK. ERICA HAS A HET ICON. :DD And not just one. Two of them. Like omg. :OO (Three if you count the Cless/Mint one, but it's not romantic really; they're just standing there. o_O) I should also take the time to go through my tags and stuff. o_o;; Some of them are kinda useless so I should reclassify some entries.

Heh, yay. Internet is working again...! I didn't think I'd get it at all tonight so I asked Triffy to TXT me one of the LJ phone numbers so I could make a long-distance voice post. XD Today was fun. We left the house at eight today since mom thought it was actually twenty-to-eight. XD; So we got to school a little late. I didn't bother getting a late slip because Chetty never pays attention to that. I went to the classroom but it was empty so I started to head down to the theatre. I was stopped by n_torti who hadn't done his poetry presentation work yet and didn't even have the sheet saying what he had to do (it was due next period XD) so I told him. Then I went to the theatre and we did nothing for a while. Yay. :D At one point, Rosenburger brought a few people to the theatre to see if there was anything they could do to help there. One of them was my mom, who took the day off of work to help out around the school for the theatre's grand opening tonight. So she got to meet Chetty (coolest teacher ever :D) and then randomly gave me the car keys. XD; Wtf. She said she'd try to drive me home after school, so I should meet her in the lobby. But if she didn't turn up, I'd have to give the keys to the office and really quickly get the bus. XD; Oh well. (Argh! Internet just disconnected again! ><!) Anyway, English was okay. Torti's presentation actually turned out really good; better than mine, even, and he did it in like...20 minutes. XD Dude. After that was Religion. I aaalmost considered skipping to keep Mara company since I knew we had a substitute teacher, but I opted not to because my mom was somewhere in the school and if she saw me...not in class, I'd be totally screwed. x_x; So I went to class and that was okay since we had a great supply; he'd already looked up all the work we had to do and told us which pages it was all on so we didn't have to do nearly as much work. o_O; Never, ever had a supply do that for me before so it was a nice change. For lunch, we all went to the mall since otherwise we'd be eating in the gym. ^_^; So I got sushi (on sale, too!) and it was so good~ We ended up nearly being late to class though. x_X; Dean and I got to Calculus just as the bell rang. Calculus itself went okay. We didn't do anything new, thank god. We just reviewed what we did yesterday and did more equations. We have a few questions for homework so hopefully I'll get them right AND understand what I'm doing tonight. :D So afterschool, I think I was called to the office since my mom doesn't realize that I can't get to the front foyer RIGHT when the bell rings and she thought I'd forgotten, rofl. Turned out okay, though, and she did indeed drive me home, meaning I got there 15 minutes early. XD In the car, though, we somehow got talking about gay people and I now know her stance is completely tolerant of them. So she'd definitely be the first parent I'd tell about bisexuality. Until we were nearly home and she said, "I also think bisexuality is really just when the person hasn't fully realized their homosexuality and is still coming to terms with it." D: Um, sorry, but no. Oh well, though. I walked into the house to find that all sorts of crap was in the front entry. I might have mentioned in yesterday's entry that dad wanted to rearrange the computer room because the guy from Bell said that the internet might be shorting out all the time because our cable is longer than six feet and its got too far to go. (That sure as hell doesn't explain why it's been working fine for three years but...whatever.) Dad decided to go ahead and do that today, thankfully. He was just fixing up the broken part of our computer desk when we got home, so I helped him with that. (It's been broken forever...it's the part where our printer goes, but it still stayed up fine so we never bothered fixing it. o_o Also, was just disconnected again. Gah.) After the desk was set up, I helped him set everything else up. The wires back there are so disorganized. x_x; We really need to tape them together...or something...it's just so ugly back there and I know when I get all my other things plugged in (webcam, tablet, iPod thingy, etc.) that it'll just be awful. And I just noticed the speakers aren't in the right place. *switches them* Anyway...we've decided that, since we have four bookcases in all, we're just going to switch it so that there are two on each side, meaning we'll also have one computer on each side. I'm not entirely sure how that's going to work considering the door opens right to the wall on that side, but I'm sure we can figure out something. It also means the older computer will be wirelessly connected...so I asked again about my laptop. (I got a definite outright no last night. x_X) Dad...didn't say yes, he tried to think of a place I could sit with my laptop but the only places he could come up with were just shitty because I'd be way too close to the other computers and it would just make the room look really cluttered and everything. ._. I said the connection probably wouldn't even work well in my room anyway considering how physically far it is from the computer room (I dunno about that, but I'm guessing all the obstructions in the way would have some effect on the network.) So hopefully, fingers crossed, they'll let me have wireless so I can sit on the couch in the family room with my laptop or something. That would be so awesome. ;_; Oh! I also think I'm starting to like another pairing! ^__^ I was playing Tales of Phantasia yesterday before bed (I'm gonna start trying to play more and more of that everyday so I can finish it quickly--the plot's starting to get pretty good :3) and omgs~ Guess what people! They aren't related this time. (As far as I can tell, anyway. XD) And--get this. It's a heterosexual pairing. :3 I'm becoming normal probably coming down with something. XD But omg, Cless and Mint are adorable. ♥~ So yes, that was my day. Better post this quick since I dunno when the internet will die again. x_X Btw people, I've decided I am going to switch how I post icons to a community format. o_o; That way I don't have to log out of this account, ever. x_X Since that's always bothered me.

Poll #675419 Graphics Tutorial
Open to: All, detailed results viewable to: All, participants: 10 What kind of graphics tutorial would you prefer from me? I suck at DDR now. :D I'd practise more, but sometimes when I do my knee acts up so I'm afraid to do it too often. I could really use the exercise though. XD Oh well. Anyway, went to Kura's house. Played DDR. Failed miserably at Kingdom Hearts. (I figured out where to go and stuff but like...Maleficent-dragon beat the crap out of me EVERY TIME BECAUSE STUPID DONALD DOESN'T CAST AEROTHINGY ON ME AND NEITHER PARTNER HEALS WTF USELESS.) Lol, Maleficent has spirit fingers. :> Um, um. Then we went on the computer and since I had the install/crack for Photoshop on my iPod (dunno why...I guess I just hadn't deleted it from when I installed it on the laptop XD), we installed that. Then just sat on MSN all night. OH MY GOD I WANT WINDOWS XP. ;_; Voice clips are hilarious. Now I know what I'm missing out on and it's not fair. D: I also drove illegally for the first time today! ^__^ I asked dad if I could drive home from Kura's house, and he asked if I had my license--which I didn't, so he said no. But as we were walking away from the front door he told me I could. w00t. It's only about a 3-5 minute drive anyway and the streets are quiet so nothing could go wrong and there wouldn't be any police. :D So yeah, drove home illegally. XD *le awesome* /me is going to play ToP now since brother has taken over the PS2. Stupid kid.

Question: If I were to make a graphics tutorial, what kind would you prefer? Signature? Avatar/Icon? Wallpaper? Other? I feel like doing one but I dunno if I should finish my sig tutorial, which I'd end up redoing anyway since I don't like it, or something else. :\ *feels like making a tutorial* Anyway...I woke up this morning at 7 since my alarm didn't go off. x_x; I sort of sat there in bed listening to CBC (which is USELESS) to see if our buses were cancelled. I really wanted them to be so I could go back to sleep. They weren't, though, so I frantically got up, into the shower, dressed, dried my hair, and came downstairs. XD; I grabbed my stuff together, found the DS (which merely okay-ish battery power ;_;) and we left. The field trip was fun. :D I failed miserably at Mario Kart DS on the way downtown and when we got there, we drew a few things and Chetty discovered Wireless Internet in the area. After finishing the first sketches, Triffy and I tried to connect with our DSes but it wouldn't work. D: Worked on Chetty's laptop, though. Lucky bastard. ;_; After that, we dispersed getting from eleven to one to walk around and sketch or take pictures along with do whatever we wanted. So we walked to Silver Snail (IN THE COLD OH GOD WAS IT COLD D:) and warmed up there for a bit. Caitlin bought this Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon action figure and Kura bought something for...er...Yamiroos since I dunno how else to refer to him. o_o;; After this, we ate at that little Chinese food place and went to Kikiwai. Wasn't much there though so we went to AnimeXtreme instead. I was looking forward to that because when we were there last year on a field trip with Estabillo, they had these Tales of Symphonia figurines. In that set, there's Sheena, Colette, Lloyd, Presea and I think Genis...and the last time I was there I could only afford Sheena (since the others were Colette and Presea). I went today hoping there'd be a Lloyd or something but I couldn't find them anywhere. ;_; I came pretty close to buying one of these Cardcaptor Sakura ones but I didn't since it wasn't my money to spend, really. (Mom just gave me like...$50 before I stepped out of the car this morning o_O) and I also came close to buying this ADORABLE little Cloud keychain. ♥ Alas, both of those would have come out to $10 on their own so I left empty-handed. :\ On the bus ride home (er, to school), I played Triffy's Animal Crossing and the Kratos umbrella amused me. Probably too much. Then on the second bus ride home, I pulled out the DS and played Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories which I grabbed randomly on my way out the door this morning. OH MY GOD I BEAT THE STUPID BASTARD THAT I'VE BEEN STUCK ON SINCE LIKE...MARCH OF LAST YEAR. XDD! Amazing, considering I haven't touched the game since August or something and that was the first fight I attempted. I rock. Apparently he's like...the second last boss or something and I was fighting the final one when the battery died. I was kicking ass too, but that's okay. I saved in-between and since it was going so well, I imagine it'll be just as easy later. I'd planned to start Tales of Legendia today but I'm going over to Kura's instead pretty soon to beat Kingdom Hearts for her. :> ...boo. Dad just came in to say my Wisdom Teeth appointment was rescheduled to March 17th. @_@ That means I'll likely miss at least one or two days of school, assuming I take a while to recover. Ah well; can't be helped.
