Wow, I'm really tired. I stayed up pretty late last night talking with Andy, Jake, David, Jorfe, and Mork...and then a few of us started playing Mario Kart DS. Jake, Mork, David and I tried to race against each other, but we could never find each other--not as a group, anyway. The first time I searched for them, I ended up facing Triffy, which was very confusing, but fun. He went easy on me, which was good since I hadn't played the game in about half a year. Then I faced Mork a couple times. I won the first set of matches since I kept getting awesome luck near the end of races by getting mushrooms. He won the second set, though. Then we gave up since every time we'd try to connect with Jake, we'd find each other and by then we were sick of each other. XD

As a result, when mom woke me up early (okay, okay, it was around 10), I was really tired. I got up anyway, though, and we did yard work. Raking and picking up pine needles...oh joy. Needless to say, that sucked. Then I had to come in and do dishes and clean the kitchen. And before I even had the chance to sit down, we were off to Uniform Basics.

Five minutes into that drive, mom turns around and says there's not point because she was sure it was to close at 4 PM and it was about 3:15 at that point. I told her we were going to get milk no matter what since we were out, so we did. She actually spent about 20 minutes getting milk along with roughly half the items at the store; I shouldn't have asked to wait in the car. We came home after that, only for her to find out on UB's website that they close at 5 PM. Argh.

We left again and actually got there this time after about a 30 or 40 minute drive. I can't remember now. We ended up getting a new pair of male pants since mine didn't fit anymore (the guy pants have pockets...none of the female styles do), a new sweater since both my old ones have holes in them, and then attempted to get two new shirts, but they didn't have any pre-crested ones in my size, so we ordered them and have to pick them up in about a week or so. These are all clothes for school, by the way, since mine is a uniform school. XD This is probably the last time I'll ever go uniform shopping! That's...almost depressing.

Mom made me drive home from there, which sucked because I didn't have sunglasses and the sun was in my eyes every time we faced West. It hurt and I hated it because it was really hard to see where I was going. We went to Sam's Club, though, and mom bought some stuff for dinner tomorrow (which she apparently couldn't get at Longo's when she was there earlier o_o). Then we went to Michael's so I could get a sketchbook; the school isn't buying them for us this year.

( And then we went home, where I continued working on...a wallpaper! )

Also, during dinner, I asked if we could go skiing this year, and dad said yes. And then he asked where I wanted to go, and they didn't say no to Colorado. ^__^ So, hopefully we'll go there this winter. Even though they say that if we go there, we don't get a summer vacation...which is stupid, since we could just drive there and skip our NJ trip and I don't see the big cost difference. <_< We'll see how this goes, anyway.

I'm submitting this with an LJ client so I'm not actually sure how it'll look. So let's find out, shall we?

I woke up around one today because my dad was blasting loud music. Was good music, though, so that's okay. XD I got up an hour later and didn't bother showering since, well, I just showered yesterday. But my hair always looks like crap these days when I wake up because I sleep too long or something. Ah well. So I came downstairs and dad told me that we had a few movie passes that we hadn't used yet. Bryan's really wanted to see Click for a while now, so we checked the times and decided to see it at 3:15. It turns out the passes actually expired yesterday but the woman at the cashier didn't realise that, so my brother and I more or less got in free. Nice. XD (Dad wanted to watch a football game or something, so he stayed home.) However, the guy at the concession stand caught the slip-up with our $10 coupon so I had to cough up some cash there, but that's okay.

Movie was okay. Awkward in the beginning since there was a commercial for Alesse (a birth control pill...the first one I tried XD) and my brother decided to ask me, quite loudly, what the pills were for. Haha, so I told him. Serves him right for asking. After the movie, my brother and I were gonna walk down to HMV since we both wanted to buy a season of Family Guy on DVD for our annual New Jersey roadtrip this year. I called home, but dad had just left to come pick us up so we just waited and had him drive us there instead.

So we bought seasons one and two and then just as we were leaving, I noticed they had PotC2 posters and I wanted one, but didn't feel like borrowing more money from dad (my gift certificate didn't quite cover it and Bryan didn't have cash on him). So we just came home. Mom needed to go out to get something and we discovered that we had another HMV gift card, which I declared must have been mine since A) no one else remembers getting one, B) I'm pretty sure that one of my gift cards from a Christmas in the last few years had gone missing, and C) I actually had something to use it on. XD So I showered quickly and we went out again. On the way there, I remembered--hey! I'm on really strong painkillers now. I'm not supposed to be driving! (Mom asked me to drive and it's fun, so I agreed.) XD; So I didn't get to drive anymore. Ah well. I got a Jack poster, yay. :3 Then we went to Fortino's and then Shoppers Drug Mart. And now we're home again.

...dad just asked me if we should go camping this year. He's insane. I'm allergic to camping. D: (Last time we went, I could only stay one night and I got a terrible cold and had to be driven home. XD)

I'm so sleepy, but I've gotta stay up longer or else I'll be up too early or something. @_@;;

*so just went on an icon stealing spree* XD I've been too lazy to make my own lately. Like, I reeeeally want to, and I'll even have Photoshop open and everything but...actually doing stuff takes so much effort. *whine*

Anyway, evidently I didn't go back and edit that earlier post. My parents took forever signing all these papers so when we finally got home, I had only enough time to pack my bag for tutoring and get the hell out. @_@; We were a bit late for that, but oh well. IT kinda sucked today since he made me do most of the math and I was NOT in a math type of mindset. So he probably thinks I'm stupid again now since I did so many things wrong (stupid mistakes--normally I wouldn't be that bad, but I was so tired and...and...*complain*)

But right. The van. It's new and, um, yeah. o_o; It's a Toyota Sienna, and it's really nice, but I miss the old van. ;_; We'd had it since '96 and the new one just seems so...new? XD I dunno. I resented it mildly up until after tutoring. Close to home, dad pulled over and we switched so I could test it out. It drives so nicely! omg! :DD That was also pretty damn awesome since I was the SECOND person to drive it (not counting people who drove it at the dealership XD). Haha, I drove the new vehicle before mom did. :D But whatever, it's really nice. They should have picked dark red for the colour, but I can live with steel blue or whatever we got.

Um, right. I originally got on just to make this quick post but then got sidetracked with the icon stuff. I'm so, so tired now. *was ready to go to bed at 5 PM but couldn't* XD So Erica is OFF TO BED to get a good night's rest so she can feel very guilty tomorrow for doing NO Japanese work (since, let's face it, I'm not going to) and yeah. :3 *wanders upstairs*

Anyway...I got my haircut today. o_O The stylist made it flippy, which bugged me, so we drove home and fixed it. And also picked up my brother. I drove, and we went to get his cake, get stuff for his loot bags, and finally we went to Taco Bell to get food. I went through my first drivethrough. :>

Today was a hell of a lot better than yesterday. Everyone woke up late and I ended up leaving for Japanese class around the time it was due to start. So I got there maybe half an hour late. x_X; I didn't miss much, though. We also barely did anything. We learned how to describe things with verbs (basically just learning how to say things like "the book that I bought") and then did a few exercises on that. Then the grade 10 class came in again and we danced. XDD; Aaron and I had practised during break with sensei so now we're all really good at it. :D I think we're like...presenting in front of the school next week during the culture assembly or something, wtf. XD

Then I drove home...on highway 7 no less. XD It was fun! I think I have to leave, like, NOW to drive my brother to his party though. x_X

Edit: Oh! Almost forgot! ^___^ We got USB 2.0 ports now~ We've got four of them. Four working ones. Omg. :D Haven't really gotten much use out of them, but I was planning to rip my FFX OST this weekend, so we'll see how much faster songs transfer onto my iPod now. XD Also, dad got 256 more megs of RAM but...it's not working ;_;! So we're gonna figure that out next.

Anyway, today was okay. Woke up late. Got to Japanese late. Wrote the dictation thingy. Then we did...um...I don't remember what we did. o_o Agh. I meant to say a lot about class but I just don't want to now. x_x; We basically did nothing until 12 when the Level 1 class came in and we did the dancing thing again. Also, we learned how to sing "If you're happy and you know it" in Japanese. (shiawase nara te o tatakou~)

Oh. In the car on the way to Japanese, I beat KH:CoM. Started the Riku side of it while waiting for mom to pick me up afterwards. So I drove home from there. Went okay. We stayed home for a bit. Then we went out again because we wanted to see Curious George. I drove aaaall the way to Promenade and of course, it was sold out, so it was all for nothing. At this point I was overtired and cranky. But Bryan wanted to go buy Mario Strikers or whatever (the soccer game) so we went to EB Games and he spent ten minutes playing the game on the GCN they set up, which is just wtf since he was buying it anyway. x_x; So we wait for him. Then we go to T&T and wait for mom to get food. Crappy food. (Dinner sucked.)

And then we went home. Dad came home and had rented War of the Worlds and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. They're watching the second one now but I don't feel like watching movies at all. T_T;

So yeah.

I suck at DDR now. :D I'd practise more, but sometimes when I do my knee acts up so I'm afraid to do it too often. I could really use the exercise though. XD Oh well.

Anyway, went to Kura's house. Played DDR. Failed miserably at Kingdom Hearts. (I figured out where to go and stuff but like...Maleficent-dragon beat the crap out of me EVERY TIME BECAUSE STUPID DONALD DOESN'T CAST AEROTHINGY ON ME AND NEITHER PARTNER HEALS WTF USELESS.) Lol, Maleficent has spirit fingers. :>

Um, um. Then we went on the computer and since I had the install/crack for Photoshop on my iPod (dunno why...I guess I just hadn't deleted it from when I installed it on the laptop XD), we installed that. Then just sat on MSN all night. OH MY GOD I WANT WINDOWS XP. ;_; Voice clips are hilarious. Now I know what I'm missing out on and it's not fair. D:

I also drove illegally for the first time today! ^__^ I asked dad if I could drive home from Kura's house, and he asked if I had my license--which I didn't, so he said no. But as we were walking away from the front door he told me I could. w00t. It's only about a 3-5 minute drive anyway and the streets are quiet so nothing could go wrong and there wouldn't be any police. :D So yeah, drove home illegally. XD *le awesome*

/me is going to play ToP now since brother has taken over the PS2. Stupid kid.

Okay, today I woke up pretty late for a school day. o_O I woke at 8 and still had to take a shower and be ready to go at 8:10. Wtf. XD I ended up leaving around 8:20 and got to class on time. Yay. So anyway, I had to write my exam today. Since I missed it last week (and so did this other person), we wrote in another classroom. This classroom wasn't heated. IT WAS FRIGGING COLD. ;__;! By the time mom picked me up, I still wasn't warmed up. The exam wasn't...that bad, but I didn't remember very much kanji...which was major suckage. While writing it, the other girl who was writing kept...I dunno...eating something. Or she was sucking on one of those cough drops and clicking it into her teeth. I don't know but it was SO annoying. >_<! After that I just did classwork until the last little bit of class. The first year students came to our class and we all did this...traditional Japanese dance. Wtf, it was so weird. And Dean's class didn't get to come. DD:

After class, mom picked me up and drove into this residential area where we switched seats. I basically drove from there to Promenade Mall after that. We went inside and mom got some spices, then we went to EB Games and I got Tales of Legendia. (^__^ Ugly cover, but still a Tales game!) After that, we went into that cute store and I bought a new pencil case. It's adorable. And hopefully it'll fit all my pencil crayons and such now. XD My current one (which is stolen from my brother) is packed full. x_X Then, we got sushi and ate it. :3

So after that, we basically went home. @_@ I drove aaall the way. *preen*

Anyway, I spent my night watching that. We started about 30 minutes before the polls closed here. I ended up too distracted to get much work done, so I rewrote all my Physics notes and definitons along with doing...a few equations, but nothing spectacular. I haven't decided if I'm going to bring my art upstairs with me now and copy her stupid Impressionist notes onto that now or do it during lunch tomorrow. (As the rest of my day will be going towards Physics--I find that a hell of a lot more important toward my future career paths than her art class...even if it is half an exam. >_>;;) I'm pretty tired, so maybe I'll just do that if when I wake up early tomorrow morning. I have to shower too...ugh. *so tempted to just pull an all nighter but won't do well on either test then*

Driver's ed was annoying. No orgasm talk today, though. He did keep taking the frigging steering wheel while I was driving though...for no real reason other than the fact that he thought I was holding it too tense. (Anyone would when a middle-aged man keeps leaning toward them grabbing the one device that's keeping them straight on the road--while they're doing lane changes!! DD:)

So, um...yeah. It's midnight. What the hell am I still doing up?

Anyway...I went to class today. It wasn't too bad. I brought my manga and asked Sensei what that stupid "BAFU~" sound effect meant. It turns out it doesn't actually mean anything. It's just sort of...I think the sound of someone breathing out, kinda? Kinda like "phew" (the sound) but not that meaning. Kind of. It doesn't have one, it's just...I dunno. I can't explain it so I may just not translate that. XD;; No class next week~

We drove Dean home after class and then mom and I went to Burger King for lunch. o_o; I haven't eaten there in ages. The food is so gross. XD;; Mom then drove to the industrial area around the new mall and we switched spots. I didn't forget how to drive! XD I was doing pretty good, but the sun was constantly in my eyes and it was too bright so...I drove home from Wal-Mart/Sam's Club (!!) to get sunglasses. And then I drove back. Then we went into Sam's Club and bought stuff for dinner. Then we were driving around a bit more and mom told me to take a left at this one place near the mall and...I nearly ended up on a freeway on-ramp. XDD I had to pull over so we could switch. (It's illegal for me to drive on one with a G1-level license.) She drove most of the way to this...sports outlet and let me drive there. I got new shoes and then...I drove home from there. o_O I got up to 70kmh~ ^__^ It was so much fun!! (80 is a little high for me, though...I was kinda freaking out when I got that high so I slowed down...XD) But yeah. I just have to convince them to let me drive around either later tonight (after it gets dark) or tomorrow night. My in-car is Monday night and not only will it be my first time driving in busy/heavy traffic AND in the dark (unless I practise that tonight/tomorrow), but it's also election night so it's gonna be even busier than usual. @__@

Um...yeah. =o T'was my day.

edit: ^_^ Dad believes me about the USB ports! He's gonna look into getting a 4-port USB 2.0 card thingy for the bottom ports (we have two near the top of the computer and two near the bottom). Those are the two that partially work but...he says those are the only ones he can replace so I won't complain. Yay, four working ports again~~
