I have a midterm tomorrow and I have yet to study for it. Hahaha, oops.

I was pleasantly surprised. Mom & Dad called me before they left Toronto today. They hadn't checked their email so it was a good thing too--I needed them to bring up a fork.

See, apparently every fork in the house has gone missing except for one. I put up a sign last week in the kitchen basically saying "Guys where are all the forks? :(" hoping whoever had them would feel guilted and sheepishly just return them to the sink so everyone could continue using them. No luck. Dean and I had two forks we were using everyday (we're the only ones in the house who consistently prepare meals every night) but I forgot to wash them and put them away in my drawer (hidden with chopsticks lol) after dinner one night and another one went missing, ugh. So yes, my parents brought up one more fork and we will be much more careful with it. My notes may get more and more passive-aggressive if forks don't turn up soon. Gotta start asking roommates about it when I see them too, even though I really only ever see Dean and Matt. x_x

Anyway, parents came up and brought a crapton of stuff. Two more boxes of Coke, two bottles of raspberry juice (omg ♥) and some other things like dry pasta, some soup, etc. Mom also brought me up a 3" memory foam to put over my mattress. It's... it's... it's so fucking comfy omg. I had it decompressing (it was vacuum-sealed, lol) on my bed while we went out and Dean helped me get my bedding on over it when I got home and just... unf. I'm going to have the best sleep ever tonight, I just know it.

But yeah, mom and dad took me out for lunch after that. :') It was nice to just get to sit and talk with just them for a while. We went to Boston Pizza and I had some pasta thing even if I wasnt hungry (I took like... all of it home and had it for dinner later, lol). Then we went to the mall and did a huuuge grocery shop. Mom and I found the discount Halloween candy and we bought sooo much. XD; I must have like 400 mini-size chocolate bars in my closet now. Wonder how long that'll last. (Got some Oh Henrys, Reese's cups and pieces, Smarties, and Aero. ♥) Grabbed more groceries and useful things and yaaay. It was quite awesome.

Didn't do much all day since they went home though. Put everything away, reorganized the bottom of my closet (where I keep snacks and stuff), and then Dean and I were really craving frozen hot chocolates so we walked all the way down University to Second Cup. Omg it was so good. 8) Haven't done anything but chill around and post on PC after we got home, yay.

...damn, when did it get so late? Matt just knocked and asked if I wanted to watch Dexter but I have to decline since I've gotta get to bed to make sure I'll be up in time to get to campus for my doctor's appointment. (...at 12:15pm. Shut up.)

→ Thanksgiving was good. Mom was in Vegas (one of my cousins was getting married there) so I just chilled with my dad and my brother. Had massive cramps on Saturday and part of Sunday which sucked since I didn't get to see triforce89 but I got lots of sleep over the weekend, ate LOTS OF GOOD FOOD and it was basically just super awesome.

→ Brain!surgery cousin is okay!! ♥ Doctors were amazed but he's doing really well. He's home already because instead of taking weeks/months to relearn how to walk and whatnot, it took him a few days. He's retained all his memories and speech and everything and... he's actually planning to go back to school soon. O_O; Lmao I feel like such an underachiever now, haha. I'm just glad he's okay.

→ Mom came up last weekend. She brought me food, my boots, and some other stuff. We went out for lunch. Went to the mall and they added an entirely new section. I knew they were reno'ing but wow. EB Games moved to a bigger storefront and are now a Gamestop. I picked up Dead Space. Mom also bought me a pair of $50 slippers because they were so comfy and I needed a new one. ;~; omgg I love them so much. Also she bought my groceries. I love herrr. So glad I got to see her since I didn't at Thanksgiving. :'D Wish we'd had more time to talk with just the two of us though. I need to go home again sometime.

→ Started playing Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix last week. It's SO HARD omg. D: I'm playing on Proud Mode and I'm not used to the shitty camera, nor am I used to the controls. (Though thank god it's got the Japanese controls or I'd be dying even more than I am now!) It took me like 3 or 4 hours today just to beat the Cave of Wonders. x_x I'm at level 22 and I don't get guard until 33 because for some reason I decided to choose magic at the beginning of the game. Boo.

→ So close to complete in KH 358/2 Days. :'D I need about 10 more challenge sigils and I'll mark it completed on Backloggery. (I waited until level 100 with the Japanese version but I'm not going to let myself do that again.)

→ HAVE I MENTIONED I LIKE KINGDOM HEARTS? eeeeeee the trailer for BBS that came out this week. sdklfsd want so much!! I'm glad it has a release date (January 9 fuck yeah!) but it's gonna be a lot. x_x; $60ish in Japan and by the time I import, it'll probably be close to $100, ugh. I'll probably try to swing it as my Christmas present and then I can get the one-day shipping and not be paying as much as I would. Otherwise I'm gonna be spoiler-avoiding for half a month again and that sucked. DD: (Yeah, I'm importing. I'm impatient with KH games!)

→ Got accepted into the social networking preview on XBL. :D Yay twitter! I doubt I'll use it much on there though, since I don't have a keypad and I usually play with a computer near me anyway. (That and it's a standalone app on the dashboard?) Haven't had a chance to try out Facebook yet though I probably will over the weekend. I wish Last.fm was available in Canada. ;__;

→ Ordered Microsoft Windows 7 today! :DD I added the CD to my cart so it'll be shipped home sometime but I'll be downloading it and reformatting my netbook to install it this weekend, likely tomorrow. Just have to back everything up and make sure I have my wifi driver downloaded first.

→ Not going into much detail but it involves my FAVOURITE TMI HEALTH ISSUE that you can probably read back on if you're curious. But anyway, my doctor is a little worried, apparently, and is suggesting I get "complete bloodwork" done. But since I don't have an official requisition form, I have to go to a doctor here to get one so I have an appointment on Nov 2nd at the campus clinic. I have a midterm that day so while I can go in and update them on my health status and get the papers, I'll have to wait on the bloodwork. I'm not so good with it and I don't wanna do anything to compromise the test even if it'd be hours before. v_v

→ Final exam schedule is out! The first one I saw on it was my CS exam which is December 22nd. ffffffffff. That's the last day of the exam period. XD; Luckily, I checked the others and I'm pretty sure they go Dec 19 (Saturday), December 21 (Monday) and then the Tuesday one. Thank god! I emailed my family about it and mom said she'll drive me home after classes end around Dec 6th and then she'll drive me back out for my exams and then home again. D'aww. :')

HAY GUYS HOW IS EVERYONE?

I'm holding up without internet. It hurts but the pain lessens everyday. Or something like that.

Mm... first day of classes was today. I'm actually still on campus but my classes ended at 12:20 today. I normally have class 10:30-12:20 on Mondays and then a tutorial at 5:30 PM (ffffffff) so I haven't decided if I'll chill on campus every Monday (and Wednesday which has the same hours, more or less) or go home and come back. We'll see!

My Calculus class was full like whoa but the prof (whose last name is "Best" and I am jealous) signed my override form so I'm in. :) That class is good and the prof is funny but he doesn't speak too loudly so I'm gonna have to make sure I get a seat near the front every time--but that's okay because my class directly before it is literally one classroom away so I just walk out of the first and into the second. Kick ass.

My first prof is... different. XD; We got a geography lesson, European history lesson, Canadian history lesson, religion and language lesson all in one. We only did algebra for the last 10 minutes and even then it was basically "SUBSTITUTION IS LAME AND ELIMINATION IS PRETTY RAD BUT NOT AS COOL AS WHAT WE'RE ABOUT TO--OH WHOOPS OUT OF TIME". He actually let us make the course outline ourselves. :| Originally it was gonna be a final and some quizzes, but he asked us and added in a midterm. Then we were really close to getting a MATLAB assignment but more people voted no on it. ;_; Oh well.

After my classes, I went to hand in the override form and then when I was wandering through SLC, I noticed Rogers had a tent up and were talking about internet. I wandered over and said I was interested and the guy... took down my name and address right there. o_O; So it looks like by the end of the week (or a little later), we'll be getting the student special installed. :] 10MBps download and 95GB/month usage for like $40. Niiice. Do want. ♥

Mm... not much else to say. Dad surprised me by showing up at my front door unannounced on Thursday night which was great because all my roommates were out and I was lonely and hungry because I had no food. He'd been golfing in Guelph and figured it was pretty close. So we went out to grab something quick and it was really nice. Mom came up the next day and brought me some necessities. Like a bookshelf, a hanging compartment for my closet, and some more pillows. XD; We went out for lunch, saw 9, and then did some grocery shopping. :D So now my kitchen is all stocked up, yay!

Now I need to go pick up some hooks to put on the wall and some poster tape for Dean.

Man, I'm so tired today and I have no idea why. :(

I'd completely forgotten we had tickets but on Saturday night, we went downtown to Massey Hall for the British comedy Just for Laughs show. Honestly, I don't remember any names of the acts we saw aside from Jimmy Carr (though the first guy and the last guy were kinda cute :D). But they were all really good and... and... JOHN CLEESE HOSTED IT OMG. *_* He's... so very tall. We had horrible seats (though we moved over to some better empty ones ♥) but we could still tell he was towering over most everyone else. He was wearing a suit jacket and this hideous tie and no shirt. XD; Mom and Bryan don't believe my dad and I when we say he was shirtless though. Uhh... so that was fun. We came home and ordered a pizza and then we all crashed around 1 AM.

Did nothing on Sunday but relax. We did a few chores and my brother and I got through a few worlds of 358/2's mission mode. It was lots of fun and I kick ass because he's 45 levels higher than me and I still won almost every mission. xD; I've still got a ways to go but I'm inching closer! *_*; I'm starting to realize that I'll probably finish all the missions before I max out my level though. That's going to take forever.

Um. Not much else to say. Work still sucks. Getting up early still sucks. Having to go to bed around 10 PM still sucks. Playing through Prince of Persia with the Prince dressed as Altair and just pretending it's Altair delivering some of the more ridiculous lines is absolutely hilarious. I suck at the game and that's the only thing that's gonna keep me playing.[/prediction]

→ We left Thursday morning. somehow managed to get out of the house at a decent hour (something like 9:30 or 10).

→ Arrived in Wayne, NJ to spend the night. Niiiice hotel. I discovered Hulu and am still emo over the fact that we cannot access it in Canada. ;_;

→ Watched the pilot for Glee on Hulu. Loved it. Will be hard to separate the main character from ausaudriel in my mind, though, because there's a resemblance there. XD

→ Woke up the next morning and drove into NYC. Dad dropped us off by Rockefeller and we went to the Nintendo World store and the Times Square TRU. (Yeah we're lame.)

→ LAME POKEDOLL SELECTION AHOY. I picked up a Palkia for eternal_aegis and the World's Happiest Grimer for myself (when I buy a *Grimer* plush, you know the selection was bad). Also got a Shaymin and Vaporeon TOMY. I might have the latter already, I forget. Also got a pink carrying case for up to 16 DS games. And bought this hot pink stylus/screen cover set but realized after it was for DSi, oops. :'(

→ At TRU, I wandered around with my brother and ended up buying a pack of Jakk's toys just for the Cherubi. (The others were like... Sudowoodo and Munchlax haha.) Also got pink earbuds. :>

→ Left NYC and drove out to Brick, NJ to meet up with my parents' friends. They have a party/get-together of sorts every year. I was feeling like crap most of the day so I spent a lot of the afternoon and evening sleeping on and off.

→ Next day, mom took me to Kohl's since she'd been earlier and found a pair of shoes I might like. She forgot her wallet at the house but we shopped anyway. Found SO MANY CLOTHES omg. :> Put them on hold, went home real quick, came back to buy them.

→ Got a quick haircut while we were out.

→ Went to a Gamestop. omg video games are so cheap in the US. ;~; Especially Gamestop's used selection. I got Xenosaga, Prince of Persia (360), FF7: Dirge of Cerberus, and Dark Cloud 2. Had to renew my Edge card (idk if the US one will work in Canada) and the guy who rung me up was spazzing over my Canadian card. Called everyone over to see it. XD; We were talking for like $15 minutes about random stuff. Was fun! I went back today before we left and picked up Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, de Blob, and Zack & Wiki. ♥

→ Left this morning at around 11:30 and more or less drove straight home. We only made two stops--one for lunch and another for gas and a quick bathroom break. @_@; lmao my legs feel so weird from sitting so long.

Hum, in other news, I was feeling horrible again today so I stayed home from work. Got some much needed sleep and woke up to the phone ringing at 10:30. I missed it but listened to the message. :( My brother didn't pass Civics & Careers. Sooo now he'll be taking it in summer school. Mom packed up all the consoles tonight and locked them in a suitcase. Well, she did that for all but the 360 because I protested so instead I have to take all the controllers with me to work. 8| Mom said she'd buy me a lock with a key for my bedroom door tomorrow though so I can keep the PS3 and stuff in here. D: At least that way I won't have to ask permission to use the consoles too.

Not much else to say. Life is boring. Civ Rev is fun and addicting. Now off to play more 358/2 because I have a mission at ~Castle Oblivion~ next omgggg. :'DD

I've been alternating daily between feeling good and feeling horrible, it seems. Today's been one of those horrible days and I hope I'm feeling better in the morning. I really need to get up and take a shower since I put it off all day and now it's bedtime but... augh. So listless today. :'( So here I am typing an LJ entry instead.

Today was father's day. I cleaned up the kitchen and tidied other areas of the house. I wasn't well enough to go out to get his gift so mom picked that up for me. @_@ My brother and I got him the new Tiger Woods golf game for Wii... the one with Wii Motion Plus. He mentioned the other month that he really wanted another golf game and was thinking of getting it for a console so this seemed like a good gift. :] He said he liked it so I hope he enjoys it. He didn't give us any gift ideas this year and I was a little worried he'd think we were just getting a video game so we'd play it ourselves or something but I have little interest in golf games and only slightly more in Motion Plus anyway so... yeah.

Not much else to report. Saw Angels & Demons on... Friday, I think. Then finally saw Star Trek yesterday. I have never seen an episode of TOS (or any movies) before and the movie made dad want to see them all again so I think we're going to start either buying them or renting them. XD; I'm looking forward to that since it seemed really interesting. (b'-')b

We're heading to NJ again this year like we do almost every year. We'll be down there for the weekend of the 11th. Mom and dad said they're thinking of spending a day or two in NYC again and I got a positive on going back to Nintendo World. Watch them clear out all the decent Pokedolls again this time. (Last time I went, the only ones they had were like... Grimer, Igglybuff, Bonsly, etc. Then like two weeks later someone went and posted pictures from the store on pkmncollectors showing Pichu, legendaries, etc. FFFFFFFFFFFF) I want to get another Shaymin (because I totally molest mine when I'm high and it's not looking like a collector's item as I originally intended XD) and maybe some others... and some Tomy figs. :DD Eee I hope we do end up there again.

LASTLY I'm finally getting into the interesting stuff in 358/2 which means I actually have to stop and translate stuff in cutscenes now, haha. I'm on day like... 270 or something. I just hit the MOST CONFUSING CUTSCENE EVER OMG. It was a voiced one so I couldn't even pause to translate and even if I had I think I'd be confused as fuck anyway and just aaaaah. Aaaaah. What did I see omg I don't even know. 8| Assuming I've been translating stuff right though, it IS super interesting right now. And yay the inside of Castle Oblivion got a cameo and it made me way happier than it should have ahahaha. *dork* I can't wait for this to come out in English so I have more people to fangirl it with. ;~; And so I understand it completely, haha. So many gameplay mechanics are going right over my head, I think. (Also did I mention on here that Marluxia's default weapon has my name in it? I'm not even kidding! It translates to "Traitor's Erica". :DD All of his weapons have names of flowers in them and aaah omg his super ugly default weapon is my name. I had a total dorkgasm when I realized!)

1. Was going to see Up yesterday but my parents went out to just look at cars yesterday afternoon and came home at like 7. To tell me they bought a new one. wtf? We're getting it in about a week. :|

2. Spent most of the day cleaning, vacuuming, scrubbing, and polishing our current car so that we can sell it. Put it up on Kajiji and stuff last night and already got interest so it had to be done fast.

3. Missed the 4:50 3D showing of Up so we bought tickets for the 7pm and did some shopping. I picked up a USB wireless adaptor and the person who rung me up was in my class in grade 8 so that was cool.

4. Came home to realize HAHA MY COMPUTER IS SO SHITTY IT WON'T WORK. It picked up the network briefly but wouldn't get internet and when I tried to fix it, it stopped working entirely. Whoo.

5. Saw Up! omggg it's definitely one of my favourite Pixar movies! It really, really sucked that so many people brought their kids to it though. (Who brings kids to a movie at 7 PM on a school night??) Mom took forever getting ready (again) or something so we got there with 5 minutes to spare and there were no seats together so we sat apart since the other option was sitting in the very front row which is a big no. So I was near the back on the end of a row and there were loud kids all around me including one who had to go "DID YOU SEE THAT? IT'S A BLIMP" etc. for the whole movie. Ugh. :( Loved the movie though!

6. Came home and dad immediately yelled at us to clean up the stairs since someone's coming to see the car and he piled everything in the house that didn't belong on the main floor there. Now he's super angry because he can't find his driver's license. /sigh

7. Still can't get the wireless internet working on my main laptop. I can't play WoW *and* Skype on my netbook (not enough memory). I can't keep playing it on the desktop because I'll get kicked off too often and dad doesn't want anything hefty installed on it. Can't play it on the old desktop because it has a keyboard that infinitely types 44444444444444 or aaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I dunno what I'm gonna do since we started that up again. Or for the first time depending on if my two days of trial counted or not. Sooo I'm gonna have to spend ages catching up at this rate.

8. Guess I'll try the stupid USB thing once more and if that doesn't work, maybe I'll take my off-time on Tuesday between E3 keynotes to reconfigure the wireless router I have lying around into a bridge. I know there are tutorials for it. SOUNDS LIKE FUN. :(

9. I still can't find my iPod. Maybe I really did leave it in Waterloo? ffff. I can't afford a Touch and that's the only replacement I want now.

Ugh, okay I need to get out of this not-updating funk. :| To be fair, though, I did try to do a voice post last week and the Canadian LJ number wasn't working. fffffff. But jeez, only three entries this month what the heck.

→ School's over. Final exams went okay but idk about the courses themselves, haha. Thinking of maybe taking some time off school. Depends how this summer goes with work, maybe. I just do not want to have to deal with my medical issues in another school term again. Being high on painkillers over and over in the middle of a school term just throws me off and makes it so hard to get back on track.

→ Got a job back at the microbrewery my dad works at. Lucked out and managed to get a job assisting with accounting again thank god. Didn't wanna work in the plant and if it had come to that, I probably would've started looking elsewhere. Of course this means I'll be getting up at 6 AM everyday starting next week.

→ It's nice being home. I'm kinda rearranging my room a bit. Well, I was but then I got my Pokémon collection mainly set up and my desk moved near my bed and set up my computer and monitor and... and I kind of forgot about the rest. XD Will finish this week though, haha.

→ I dunno what's up but I haven't been well rested in ages. Mom says it's because I'm just overtired after the exam period but I'm not sold on that. It's just... I've been getting enough sleep (ie sleeping between 7 and 9 hours and waking up on my own), getting too much sleep, getting too little sleep, etc. I can wake up and not be sleepy but I'm so tired and listless these days. I have so little energy. :( I dunno if it's the insomnia kicking in (because I haven't been taking my hormone pills--heat flashes returned too) or something else entirely. It's bugging me and I think my parents are getting kind of annoyed by it too. ._.

→ There was a windstorm/thunderstorm last night and man it was crazy. It didn't SEEM that windy while my mom and I were out driving home but omg we got home and noticed a tree in my neighbour's front yard had fallen down blocking one side of their driveway. O_O; Then we noticed a tree in *our* backyard fell down. Then this morning we woke up and found that a huge tree in the neighbour's house across the street eventually fell over too. XD; It's crazy.

UM so I've barely updated in a month. Point form here we go!

→ Reading week was both productive and not at all productive. Studied a bit and then learnt I had to send my laptop back to HP (long story but I hate them to pieces now) and we didn't want to sooooo my parents bought me a netbook omg. ;o; It's an MSI Wind and I love it to pieces. So it provides me with my wifi and I'm keeping my laptop around for now and it just kinda acts as a static desktop haha.

→ Got a new phone too. It's so sexy. Samsung m*number number number more numbers* Slyde or something. idk it's pink and has a full qwerty keyboard and is my best friend. \o/ Whoo for being able to access twitter wherever. (I fell in love with it when I saw sasha_janre post a picture of her new one and had to go out and get my own since I've been planning to upgrade my phone for well over a year now. XD)

→ Wrote 8 billion midterms. Or like... 5 or something. I don't even know what number I'm approaching but it's AWFUL. My weeks are just a blur of math assignments and midterms. It's quite stressful. :( Stress is relieved by my 360. I honestly have little to say about all this since it's so boring.

→ I've been watching a lot of anime in my little breaks between class, or when I get home from class to unwind... Still watching Sailor Moon, fully caught up in Toradora and most of ToA, probably others. Watched Hetalia and liked it, much to my annoyance. ;o; Kinda avoiding fandom like whoa since from what I can tell on F!S it causes more wank than I'd care to pay attention to.

→ Health issues have been all over the place. Kinda tmi so I won't go into detail but I'm back to square -1. If you're interested past that, hit me up on MSN or something idk. I'm so frustrated with it though. Getting home for an appointment this week was a disaster too. twitter friends got a play-by-play but I basically missed my greyhound bus, missed it again at the other stop, had to city bus it to the bus terminal and then had to kill time for 1.5 hours to catch the next one to Toronto. Then when I was subwaying it to Yorkdale from downtown so my mom could pick me up, the subway got stuck for a good 15 minutes at a stop. Doors were open. I forgot my jacket. The next day was freezing too (and laced with bad/annoying news haha). ffff inaccurate weather reports.

→ Pi Day was today and that was awesome. Especially awesome when I looked up my stuff for my midterm on monday and realized it's actually NEXT Monday so I can slack off a bit this weekend thank god. It was a busy weekend because today was Pi Day (had to go buy a pie+ice cream and pick up my brother's birthday gift) and tomorrow is my brother's birthday and my family's coming up to see me. So I would've had... very little study time.

→ Got lots of Pokémon stuff lately + on the way. Shit still need to respong to an email regarding something. >< Aaah I've been so behind on email lately too haha.

→ My sink was plugged today so I got to trek over to Sobey's at like 10:30 to buy Draino or whatever. It was kind of a fun walk and it was still nice out from earlier (above zero!) so omggggggg. ♥

→ While I was home over the week, my parents said they want to take another family vacation. :] We're kind of all over the place as far as opinions go. Dad keeps pitching Mexico or Cuba or something (do. not. want. D:), mom just wants a hot vacation in the winter, and I... have no real preference so long as it's not something tropical or too... outdoorsy? Getting a tan doesn't interest me in the least. My brother and I have decided we kinda wanna push for Europe but we only have like 10 days to do it so idk. D:

→ Pokémon Platinum in one week! Aaah I almost wish my midterm was this Monday just so I could actually play Platinum somewhat. XD; Maybe I won't play it until after my midterm is done and save it for a reward hmmm.

→ ALSO I KEEP HAVING ZOMBIE DREAMS. WHAT THE HELL. CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT THAT MEANS?? Like I swear I've had about 10-15 different zombie apocalypse dreams in the last month. If there aren't literally zombies, the atmosphere is always me or someone just ahead of an outbreak and trying to find shelter, weapons, food, etc. It's driving me crazy. 8(
