Ahahaha omg.

Around 10ish, my roommate invited me to watch Dexter with him and, since it beats staying up till 4am waiting for a torrent, I jumped at the chance. So we watched it and then we were just talking about random shit for a while. We watched two more episodes (so we watched the new one, then the one before it, then the new one again xD) and just dorked around. Then we were talking about iPod/iPhone apps and he mentioned the Dexter one. I'd heard the game on the App Store is actually pretty good so he bought it and we started playing it.

Omfg we kept laughing our asses off. XD It's a good game--it looks good, it sounds good, and overall the gameplay isn't that bad--but ugggh parts of it are just so hilariously bad. Or we're bad at it. Or something. Like I just spent half an hour trying to do a two minute mission where you have to pick the lock on a door, run from that door into another room before a dog gets you, and then find all this guy's porn. If you fail at the running part, you have to smash the window. But just... lmfao. It was sooo hard and his iPod wasn't being very responsive so it was basically just a game of chance. XD I was doing okay on my last try and just as I had to do the hardest part (running from the back door to this guy's room), his dog (er, roommate's, so it actually happened XD) jumps up between my legs and the game so I couldn't see what I was doing... and somehow that was the only time I managed to do it.

Lmao it doesn't sound funny now but aklfjsdlf we liked died laughing omg. And then we simultaneously realized it was pretty much 4am, haha. But wow, it's an addictive gmae but I probably wouldn't play it on my own. It was just too much fun playing with someone else. XD; Like this other part, we took Rita on a date and even though we didn't really want to, we decided to be extra super nice to her--and we didn't get laid. :'( After tonight's episode we have an ongoing joke about Dexter having to sleep outside no matter how much of a model husband he is, etc. so it tied in rather nicely. 8D;

But lol, I'm not too tired which is bad. 8|;; I'm gonna go eat cereal and try to sleep though. *sigh* :(

Today was... such a long day. @_@;

I was back at work after my trip & being sick so there was a lot of catching up to do. Bland, boring, repetitive work aaalll day. Luckily I am (mostly) better so aside from being really overtired, I didn't feel too bad. The good part about all this is that after today I only have one more day of work before the weekend! Whoo!

Anyway, after work, mom took my brother and I to see HP6 because I missed out on going with friends (didn't even notice the email + texts until like... yesterday afternoon but I couldn't have gone anyway--past my bedtime lmao. Sorry guys! ;___;). It was good! Mind you, I haven't read the 6th book in years and have only read it twice but... I guess that means I wasn't nitpicking all the way through. XD I thought the movie was well done and it only lagged in a few parts. I was worried about getting bored since it's like 2.5 hours but I didn't have that problem. Snape's hair was too fluffy though. It's supposed to be greasy! >:O Also Slughorn had the BEST "D:" and "D8" faces. My brother and I were just dying laughing at them. And a bunch of other things. (ALSO TOAST.)

Also I learnt today that Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines (the PSP game) is going to have its own PSP bundle. :( Gaaah $200! I..... really want it. D: I'm not sure what I'm gonna do. My brother said he'd buy my PSP off me if I decide to go for it, so that'd be at least $50 toward it... but ugh, it comes out like Nov 10 so if I drop $200 on that and then ANOTHER $100 on the Assassin's Creed 2 special edition the next week... D: ffff. I'll figure out something. I'm hoping the bundle just includes a plain white PSP so I don't feel guilty at all about passing it up. XD; But if it's branded then... baaw. Gotta reaaaally watch my spending. Luckily the only things I plan on buying for the rest of the year are... Professor Layton 2, KH 358/2 Days in English, and then the Assassin's Creed games. Dissidia can wait and Bioshock 2 was delayed WHOOOO. \o/

And finally I got a letter today from my gyn's office saying she's moving to Montreal at the end of August. ;_____; Just... just... ;_______; She's the only one who's actually *done* anything worthwhile to help my condition and the only one who's actually seemed at all interested or cared. :( One of her colleagues will be taking on all her patients but... but... augh. This kinda sucks. I have a follow-up appt at the beginning of Aug and I guess that's it. ._. Not looking forward to switching doctors AGAIN. I'm getting so freaking sick of recapping every single time I walk into a doctor's office. orz.

ANYWAY it's 10PM. Time to do my clickbacks on GPX+ and get to bed. x_X

I don't even remember if I mentioned I was going anywhere. Oh well. Point form because I'm lazy!

→ We left Thursday morning. somehow managed to get out of the house at a decent hour (something like 9:30 or 10).

→ Arrived in Wayne, NJ to spend the night. Niiiice hotel. I discovered Hulu and am still emo over the fact that we cannot access it in Canada. ;_;

→ Watched the pilot for Glee on Hulu. Loved it. Will be hard to separate the main character from ausaudriel in my mind, though, because there's a resemblance there. XD

→ Woke up the next morning and drove into NYC. Dad dropped us off by Rockefeller and we went to the Nintendo World store and the Times Square TRU. (Yeah we're lame.)

→ LAME POKEDOLL SELECTION AHOY. I picked up a Palkia for eternal_aegis and the World's Happiest Grimer for myself (when I buy a *Grimer* plush, you know the selection was bad). Also got a Shaymin and Vaporeon TOMY. I might have the latter already, I forget. Also got a pink carrying case for up to 16 DS games. And bought this hot pink stylus/screen cover set but realized after it was for DSi, oops. :'(

→ At TRU, I wandered around with my brother and ended up buying a pack of Jakk's toys just for the Cherubi. (The others were like... Sudowoodo and Munchlax haha.) Also got pink earbuds. :>

→ Left NYC and drove out to Brick, NJ to meet up with my parents' friends. They have a party/get-together of sorts every year. I was feeling like crap most of the day so I spent a lot of the afternoon and evening sleeping on and off.

→ Next day, mom took me to Kohl's since she'd been earlier and found a pair of shoes I might like. She forgot her wallet at the house but we shopped anyway. Found SO MANY CLOTHES omg. :> Put them on hold, went home real quick, came back to buy them.

→ Got a quick haircut while we were out.

→ Went to a Gamestop. omg video games are so cheap in the US. ;~; Especially Gamestop's used selection. I got Xenosaga, Prince of Persia (360), FF7: Dirge of Cerberus, and Dark Cloud 2. Had to renew my Edge card (idk if the US one will work in Canada) and the guy who rung me up was spazzing over my Canadian card. Called everyone over to see it. XD; We were talking for like $15 minutes about random stuff. Was fun! I went back today before we left and picked up Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, de Blob, and Zack & Wiki. ♥

→ Ate lots of food

→ Left this morning at around 11:30 and more or less drove straight home. We only made two stops--one for lunch and another for gas and a quick bathroom break. @_@; lmao my legs feel so weird from sitting so long.

→ We've all got tomorrow off so we can just... relax. And not worry about driving. or anything. omg.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF THE WEEKEND
→ My brother now talks like the Anime North 9inchpizza crowd does. "Hay gurl" "Gurl, that's so not fabulous" "Gurl why would you do that." My dad thinks we're crazy. (They put up with this all weekend. XD)

→ My brother and I may have spent an ungodly amount of time talking about the Organization (KH) going on a roadtrip. Which wouldn't even make sense. But still. Best line ever: "Will you guys please be quiet, I am trying to sleep." "But sir, you're driving!"

→ I HAVE A POKEMON SHIRT THAT FITS.

→ My dad bought some German beer while we were there. I tried some and... didn't mind it at all! My dad said that was really weird because it was *more* bitter than most beers and the thing I tend to dislike about beer is the bitter taste. XD; So we figure I'm just a beer elitist and have been all my life and only discovered it now, ahaha.

→ ...I kind of want to go to bed now.

That job would srsly be the best ever if the early mornings weren't so... so... early. :( Getting up at 7 instead of 6 today (sometimes production starts later on Fridays so we head in later) was so much better. I got as much sleep as usual since I'm smart and stayed up like 4 hours later than I intended but I wasn't tired at aaaaall. (Well maybe just a little bit.) Work was fine today, aside from the boring parts where there was nothing to do, and then at lunch dad and I went out for sushi. I had a rainbow roll and tempura udon and OMG SO MUCH FOOD. lmao I didn't think there would be so much but there was and I ate as much as I could and it was good. ;~;

Not much else. Yay GS remakes, I guess. I think the names are retarded but they'll probably grow on me. So long as the acronym is GSDS for this iteration rather than HGSS, I can deal.

Oh, thanks for the votes on my poll, guys. It looks like I'll be playing Persona 3 first. XD I got through April when I started playing it at some point last year buuut I think I'm probably going to restart when I dig out the PS2 to play it this time around. I don't remember much of anything and I wasn't too far anyway so... yeah. I'll be giving it another try whenever my component cables come in from Monoprice. :D (I already have some but they don't carry the voice sound channel to my speakers so... so idk, I'll try another set. o_O)

Also also also... 2 weeks until Anime North. ♥ I've got to round up the people who're coming into a group convo so we can hammer out those final details. DON'T LET ME FORGET, GUYS.

On Monday I got around 5-6 hours of sleep and by the end of the work day I was just dying of tired. Last night I had SUCH problems getting to sleep. I don't think I managed to doze off for a "decent" length of time (ie more than 20 minutes) until like 3 AM. Yet overall I've barely been tired today. It's really weirding me out but at least I know I'll be ready for bed muuuch earlier today. @_@

Not much of interest to say except I am shamelessly and hopelessly addicted to Picross oh my god. :( It's like all I've been doing aside from work and minimal sleep in the last 24 hours. I... I don't even know WHY it's so addicting. I wasn't even decent at it until this morning when some technique I can't even explain dawned on me, ahaha.

I need to start a new RPG soon to clear out my backlog but I am horribly indecisive and I won't even listen to Fortune Cookie on Backloggery, it seems. But I love my friends so I'll listen to you because unlike a cookie you can bother me over and over asking if I've finished whatever game is chosen. Everyone vote!

Plus I also ordered Infinite Undiscovery and Last Remnant for 360 for $19 each (regular $60!) but by the time I got to the checkout, they were showing as out of stock. D: I ordered anyway and I hope they'll honour the price I ordered at. ;;'

My aunt, cousin, and her boyfriend are coming over later for dinner. XD My parents just called my dad's younger brother to ask how to cook turkey, lmao. So yeah, looking forward to tonight. :3 We called a few relatives last night/this morning and it was good to talk to them again. I wish we lived closer so we could see them at Christmas. Or rather, I wish THEY lived closer. I much prefer TO over Saskatchewan. xDD

But yeah, this morning was so fun. My brother and I didn't get up until like 11:15. XD; We've never opened presents that late, ahaha. It still doesn't feel like Christmas though. This was our first year without "santa" gifts (ie: big gifts) but I don't think that was it. I dunno. I'm usually a lot more excited about everything but I was honestly just having a LOT more fun sitting around putting in pieces of the puzzle every few minutes with dad than when we actually opened presents--though I will admit I was REALLY excited when dad opened his. :3 He was SO happy with it and apparently he'd been looking for the same thing to get me. Ahaha. :D But yeah, giving gifts was the best part, definitely. I just wish it'd felt more like Christmas? D:

So yesterday I was woken up and told I had ten minutes to get ready since we were going to the bank. XD; I managed it and I applied for a credit card while I was there. :[ I hope I get approved. I really only want one so I don't have to rely on my parents for purchases that can't be done with Paypal, but it might come in handy in a pinch so... fingers crossed. 8D;

We wandered all around after that. :B We went to Best Buy and my brother and I looked at games. Then we went to LCBO and I bought more coolers because I've been out for months and I like them. ;_;' Then, um, we went to... TRU where my brother and I bought some games. :O He said he would split the cost of Burnout Paradise with me, so we got that. And then he bought The Orange Box (or rather, La Boîte Orange since the box is primarily French XD). He was going to get it for PS3 but they only had it for 360 so oh well.

<_< I'm really bad at HL2, and I think I'm just getting worse. XD; So I've paused that for a bit and... and I went on to Portal even if I fully intend on purchasing Portal: Still Alive. :| I guess I'll just wait till Christmas on that one and ask for MS Points. Bryan was playing Portal last night and I missed it so hard. It's nice playing it on a console where I can have decent resolution and not have to worry about crappy framerates and bumping the quality way down. ;_;' I'm really disappointed with LittleBigPlanet's delay, but I'm very glad it's a short one. \o/ I really can't wait for that game. I've been wanting a real reason to dust off my PS3 for a reason other than watching DVDs for a long time now and this is looking to be it. I'm so excited to play it. XD; Hopefully I can finish HL2 or something before it comes out though.
