I love getting packages. \o/ Especially when you've been waiting for them forever. I haven't been here to collect my mail in a while so I had two packages and a bill and some junk mail. :D One was a package containing a bunch of Pokémon stickers (INCLUDING CHERRIM STICKERS ♥) and a Manaphy zukan and the other? Final Fantasy VII! (And a Chocobo pin. 8D) I sent my old copy of the game to [info]morkula last year so he could have a chance to play it and then, of course, felt like playing it soon after. And then when I played Crisis Core I REALLY wanted to play it again. I'm so happy I found someone selling it for $20 (though I got my original copy for $10 XD).

Um, um. So I was home last week and it was really nice to have a week off with the family. \o/ I somehow managed to get sick with something on Saturday night though, so I barely slept and felt awful Sunday morning. Mom started trying to convince me to stay home for a few more days but augh, couldn't miss any more class. @_@; The drive back here was aaawful. XD; Dad kept trying to make conversation but I was so tired and had to concentrate on the road ahead so I wouldn't throw up and just... yeah. I wasn't a very interesting person to be driving with and I felt bad for it. :[ And then of course when we actually got here, he asked if I wanted to go out for lunch, or if I needed anything else, and all I could do was crawl into bed. ;_;' Was hoping to spend a bit of time with him since somehow we didn't see each other all that much over the week I was home but... oh well. x_o;; I'm feeling better now. By the end of yesterday I was able to eat and, with enough sleep today, I didn't feel outright awful. Food is staying down too. So I should be better soon, I think? \o/

Not much else interesting. I completed TWEWY the other day! Well, completed enough for me to not feel guilty setting it to complete over at Backloggery. The only thing I don't have a star next to is my ESP'er rank and points. So... I'm kind of itching to go for total omg final completion by maxing out all stats and filling those up to star rank. 8| I do have a backlog though, so I really shouldn't but... but it's so tempting. XD I should put the game down for a bit though and actually START Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 2. I got it the same day as TWEWY but aside from taking it out of its box, I haven't touched it. XD

Also fandom related... ToA anime is official! That makes me happy. :D Not too pleased with the animation quality from what I've seen, but that might actually hint at a series instead of an OVA so if that's the case, I'm thrilled. Wish they'd give some sort of announcement on Symphonia's, though. D: I don't want to believe it ended at Sylvarant but they're already heading on to the next instalment so... so I dunno? ;_;' Also in Tales news, I hear Vesperia has been delayed until August 26th. FUCK YES. Now it doesn't interfere with my exams! I won't totally fail this term! XD

That said... I have a layout to keep designing for [info]morkula so I should do my best to... keep going with that, assuming I'm not doing any homework tonight.

w-waaaaaah ;_;
So I finished Crisis Core last night. :( ENDING IS SO SAD, EVEN IF YOU KNOW IT'S COMING, AND YOU'RE READY FOR IT, AND YOU PROMISE YOURSELF YOU AREN'T GONNA LET IT AFFECT YOU AND THEN IT DOES ANYWAY AND BAAAAAAW. I cried. ;___; Lol, thank GOD I couldn't see anything in the final dungeon when I got to it on the bus last night or else I might've actually been successful in not walking into walls and might've ended up beating the game and sobbing on the subway or something, lmao. XD;

Prooobably playing it again right away since I missed a fair bit (serves me right for playing at 4 AM without a walkthrough the other day) and then decided to ignore missions by the end. :B I can finally listen to the whole soundtrack without guilt though, hooray.

I want to play VII again now. 8(

Algebra, I love you, but auuuuuugh.
I decided to take a break from studying Algebra to make an LJ entry but then I realized I have absolutely nothing interesting to talk about. :( Baaaaaw.

Um. Crisis Core is so much fun. 8( I'D LOVE TO BE PLAYING IT RIGHT NOW but I can't put off studying any longer or I'll fail my midterm tomorrow night, lol. :/ I'm making myself feel better by listening to the OST and omggg I'm in love with the main theme, which is great since there are like 5 zillion renditions of it on the soundtrack, ahaha.

...but I'd still rather be playing the game over listening to the OST. 8(

I bet this studying would go a lot faster if I actually knew how to study. 8D

Work and sushiiii :>
So today I was late to work because I lost my pants. :C And I was really tired from staying up too late last night.

Work's been okay. Boring, but at least it's not really the "WHY IS THIS DAY TAKING FOREVER" kind of boring. At one point, my coworker put some songs in the computer and played them and the second one on the playlist souned really familiar. I thought it was the piano opening to Final Fantasy X-2 but realized I was retarded since there's no way we'd be playing that in the restaurant. Fortunately, I'm perfectly sane. It WAS the FFX-2 opening. XDD; My god that was so strange.

Um, started walking home for break but dad picked me up. :'D I got sushi takeout. SUSHI PIZZA MAKES ANY DAY AWESOME BY DEFAULT.

I'M FALLING OFF THE COUCH, MOLLY.
I have internet here if I sit at the very corner of the balcony, but the first night I was out there, dusk came and there were mosquitoes galore, so I came inside without finishing my post. Can't be out there during the day 'cause it's bad for my sunburn and at night there are mosquitoes soooo...every night I'll just write to this and I'll post it when I get back. Yay.

Do we read ANY happy books in grade 12? >__o Everyone dies in Hamlet, everyone dies in Wuthering Heights...and Death of a Salesman is just pathetically...pathetic. Like, sad in a bad way.

SO SUE ME. I LIKE HAPPY ENDINGS. Does Turn of the Screw end happily? I hope so 'cause damnit, our curriculum sucks otherwise. :|

I'm so boring and I love it.
Such an uneventful day... o_o;

I woke up this morning fully expecting that I'd be going for a haircut and passport pictures like I mentioned I would be. 'Tis not the case though, since mom found other things to do. (She sat at the computer all day--doing what, I have no idea.) She apparently remembered what she told me around 2:30 since that's when she shouted down to the basement to tell me we'd be going tomorrow night instead. Yeah. Right, okay. We'll see.

Anyway, since we weren't going anywhere, I figured I'd spend the whole day gaming since the internet's been boring me lately and it's very quiet. o.o; Unfortunately, Bryan was on the Wii all day so I didn't get to do anything productive in TP. XD And he only got off in the evening because someone kicked him off to take the TV. I spent my entire day playing XII instead. Finished a few more marks and got a ton of levelling in. :D Balthier's at level...60 now? He's catching up so fast. I got stuck on one mark a few minutes ago, though, so I gave up. xD But now everyone's in bed, so as soon as I post this I'm going to continue TP. Yay.

Oh, I applied to claim Marluxia at [info]iconfiend100. o_o; Here's hoping I have the attention span to finish that one unlike the ToS one I claimed elsewhere last year. (The year before?) So yeah. That'll be fun. I like prompts.

*off to play TP*

Wii~
Okay, no more vague entries, pictures or no. Here's what happened tonight~ :DD

I got home from school and...more or less immediately went downstairs and played FFXII for a bit. xD; I played that, while continuously running up and down the stairs to answer the phone since I never thought of bringing the portable phone down with me. Mom and dad were basically playing phone tag, where they'd just call me and tell me to relay messages instead of just calling each other. xD; I told dad at one point that mom would be coming home at about 6:30, so dad decided he'd get dinner.

So I'm still playing XII, planning to start on my art CPT right after dinner. Good plan, I guess. Well, awful really, but could be worse. xD I hear mom come home at some point. I never heard dad get home. Either way, mom called me to see if I was upstairs or downstairs. I answered and then about thirty seconds later, I hear her walk downstairs, but she hasn't walked into the room I'm in but is shuffling about outside the room, which is absurd since it's hard to not walk right into the room from the stairs. I had a wtf moment and then looked up to see her aiming a camera at me and had...even more of a wtf moment.

Then dad walked in with a Wii box and an extra remote. :DD I spazzed out, somehow pausing FFXII in the process (fear my subconscious mental prowess xD). My brother was somewhere else in the basement, presumably hiding? o_O; We went upstairs and called him, and then it turned out he'd been in the basement too so...wtf. XD; Mom took pictures of both of us after we'd seen what dad had.

Apparently, since mom was coming home so late (she actually didn't come home late, I just heard her wrong XD), dad figured he'd swing by all his usual stops. So he went to Wal-Mart--nothing. Future Shop, still nothing. Sam's Club? Well, he walked up to the cigarette area (where they keep the consoles, wtf? XD) and saw they had 360s and PS3s. He didn't see any Wiis, but he figured he'd ask. So he stood in line and asked the woman. When she said yes, he almost didn't believe her. xD So he snatched one up and came home. :DD~~ The coolest part about this is I was talking with [info]nayana_1120 in her LJ about how I still had no idea when I'd be getting my Wii. XD;

Dad originally figured I'd be at my laptop in the family room as usual and Bryan would be watching TV...as usual, but we weren't for once. XD; He was going to walk in and set the box down on the floor in the middle of the room to see how long it'd take us to notice. XD

So, yeah. I set it up real quick, and while doing so made that lovely vague entry, of which only Alyssa guessed the real meaning (or else, she was the only one brave enough to hazard that guess XD). First thing, I hooked up to the internet and installed the updates. Then got the browser download and popped in Wii Sports. I failed at tennis on my own and then started to fail at bowling. By then, Bryan had managed to take the second remote out of its packaging and came over to play with me. We played a game of tennis before dinner.

After dinner, we made Miis. :D Mine kinda looks like me and Bryan's...is really ugly. XD; He wanted to make it really nerdy, but also wanted it not to have hair, so it's just...retarded. Rofl, so we went back into Wii Sports and played through everything else, except boxing. My brother and I both sucked hard at baseball, but myself a little less so. I managed to hit the ball twice, but every time Bryan would hit the ball, one of my characters would catch it. >D However, I failed at bowling (DAD did better than me. XDD He got a strike on his first try and I kept veering off to the left). Then I think we did golf, which I was pretty okay at. :D I was still over par, I think, but I did better than Bryan. Dad was really enthusiastic with the golf one. I know he wants to try it, but hopefully he'll wait until the weekend when I have time to play it with him. :x (Bryan used to force our parents to play video games with him when he was bored, but they didn't like it. So I never forced them, but I've always wanted to include them in it somehow, even if just by making them watch pretty cutscenes, like the openings to KH/FF. ._.;)

Um, so yeah. Then I came upstairs to start on my art CPT and Bryan started playing TP. o_o I won't touch it until Friday though. Or Thursday night...dunno. XD Probably Friday though, since I finish my in-class exams on Thursday and then don't go in until...Wednesday?...for my final thing in Physics.

Anyway, it's 11:50 already so I'm going to head to bed. Gotta be well-rested since I've got an exam tomorrow~ :D

Also, we took down our Christmas tree too early. D: I disassembled it Sunday morning before Dean came over, and then the next day, Bryan and I get our Christmas present. XD;

The hovercraft no longer bounces. *bow~*
It worked! It actually worked!

Omg, okay. So yesterday, Dean came over again at about 12:30. We covered the other side of the craft in duct tape because it was ugly. XD; We figured that if we couldn't get it working, we could at least make it look nice. Not that duct tape is overly nice, but it looked better. After that, we tried attaching another piece of plastic, made the cuts in the bottom, did everything and...it didn't work. Crap.

So when dad came home, he found a thicker sheet of plastic downstairs. We tried that and...it popped. DX This huge rip was torn into the plastic. We patched it up (I swear we used three full rolls of duct tape for this project) and tried again. Somehow, the rips from before and the patches we made resulted in the perfect amount of airflow and it worked. XDD So we took a video of it just so that if it stopped working or broke, I could just say that my parents wouldn't let me take the shop vac in and thus we could only show a video of it.

So after that worked, we played around with the Powerpoint presentation and basically just copy/pasted our information into a Word document for our handout. With that we were done, so we ate dinner and taught Dean manners xDD and then I showed Dean God of War. xDD WE FOUND THE SEX MINIGAME. Omg. Like, in the first 40 minutes after you get through the first area, Kratos has these prostitutes in bed with him (boobs!). I kept going to talk to them, but Kratos would always be a bitch and go all "GET YOUR CLOTHES AND GO HOME WE'RE IN ATHENS NOW LOL" and I figured the sex minigame must come later in the game. This time I jumped onto the bed and...I pressed circle and away I went? XDD; It zooms over to this pedestal beside the bed with a vase on you. Every time you hit the button or rotate the control stick as displayed, the pedestal is bumped a bit until, ah, climax, when it falls off. xD You get the level-up orb thingies for it. It's frigging hilarious.

But yeah, that was really the only reason I wanted to play that game, and I don't have to touch it anymore since I just suck ass at it. So. I popped in FFVII since Dean asked if I'd beaten it. (I still haven't. XD) I'm at an awful level for the end. Only around...jeez, I have no idea. So I went to fight the Jenova thing--I SOMEHOW BEAT IT, ROFL. I gained like...5 levels from it. XD; But then the...thing after it beat me. Lol, I was slaughtered. D: I want to start that game from the beginning again. But I'll beat VIII first.

Not that I'm being productive in either game. As soon as Dean left, I sent him the handout to look over so he knew what to say and I went downstairs to play XII. XD; Yes, Abby, I did finally get Faith and Bravery. :D I started training Balthier, too. About an hour of playtime and he jumped from level 16 to 27. Yaay~ I really did want to continue in that game, and I will now until I get a Wii. XD;

So. Fast forward to today. I get to school and run upstairs to drag Dean down and back outside to help me unload our stupid hovercraft from my van. Mom goes to work and then we went to the library to make copies of our handout. The other group went first and...dude their presentation was damn good. XD; But then, they also had 5 or 6 people in their group.

We went up and...stumbled through the presentation of the Powerpoint. We were supposed to fill up 40 minutes with our entire presentation, demonstration included, but by the time we finished the Powerpoint we were only 10 minutes into the allotted time. XD So we started setting up to show the hovercraft working when--Shincariol gets up and says, "No, we're doing it outside the classroom so you can move down the hall." o__o He gets up and grabs an extension cord and sure enough, he's dead serious.

Now, Dean and I had really only tested this staying in one place, or at most, just moving around a tiny bit. Not BOLTING DOWN THE HALL OMG. o__o; We were pretty nervous, especially since this meant that the shop vac (air blower) would have to be on the craft with the rider. @_@ So we set a stool down on it and Dean took the vac. He sits down and we plug it in and turn it on. A few feet down the hall and we hear this loud POP. Dean and I both knew that that meant the plastic had blown out again. Amazingly enough, though, it still worked! XDD Shincariol was having a ton of fun moving Dean and the craft up and down the hall, and people were coming to the doors of their classroom to see. XD; Eventually Dean fell backward off the chair and so some Asian girl tried. It worked again! Kick ass!

Eventually we stopped (20 minutes short of our deadline--oops XD) and Shincariol said he wanted us to repair it and strengthen it a bit so that sometime this week, he can ride it. We're not sure it can support him buuut...we'll give it a try. (He's very...um...heavyset. So. We don't even know if my vacuum is powerful enough. XD) All in all, I think it went well. Everyone was laughing and having fun when we were demonstrating and Shincariol was having a blast, shoving people around the hall and bumping them into lockers. xDD

Then we had French and we got our stuff back. Mara, you got 100% on your oral exam. XD; I got 86, so I'm happy. :D We got our essays back and stuff. She couldn't figure out what I'd changed (I'd fixed my thesis, but it wasn't enough for more marks...oh well XD) so I stayed up till three that night for nothing. Boo. I also stayed up until two doing my French review package for nothing, since she changed her mind today and decided it was due for tomorrow since no one knew it was to be done for today. o_o;

So I spent the rest of that class studying for Computer Science, since the exam is tomorrow. The exam sounds like it's going to be VERY easy. 15 multiple choice, 10 true or false, and then...5 traces? The traces are just where she'll give us a bit of code and we have to show what it prints out or what it does. o_o So I'll study for that a bit tonight while I do my art CPT. I have to find my paintbrushes first though, and maybe take a nap. I dunno.

But omgggg, Physics project is pretty much done. @__@ Even though I still have a ton of art to finish, it's still such a relief for that crappy CPT to be done. Yaaaay~
